Dolunay, Apartments

Arrived at 5.30a.m after flight delay and greeted by owner with a smile. Apartment basic but very clean, recommend taking a sharp knife and tea towel if cooking.Also few washing pegs for wet costumes.Maid in every day with clean bedding and towels every 2 days.Taps were wobbly and shower not fab but for the price it was great value. Pool area beautifully kept, food delicious and owners always helpful and smiling.Small shop for essentials within 5 mins walk and town about a 10 mins walk. Loved the river front and saw turtles often which girls loved.Extremely hot in August but there was a breeze most days.Met some lovely people and made some great new friends.

Arrived 3am - left 7am! Filthy curtains, chipped and broken tiles, neither of the taps were even attached to the sinks, the air conditioning was so feeble that it only sent a vague breeze directly underneath the unit which meant the bedroom was unbearably hot and unusable. Our main worry was the amount of loose wires coming out of the walls and hanging from the light sockets, which we thought were dangerous, especially if anyone is staying with children. We did consider asking if there was another apartment available, as the swimming pool area and gardens looked lovely, but to be honest we were so tired and dispirited that we decided to go back to a B & B we'd stayed at before and knew to be lovely. We didn't expect the Ritz, these are budget priced apartments and we expected basic, but I'm not prepared to put up with dirty and dangerous, and in temperatures in the high forties, the air con has to be efficient, especially when they're charging £5 per day for the pleasure. Maybe we were just very unlucky with our apartment, but we were bitterly disappointed and would certainly never book to go there again.

first time at this complex. we could not have had better sevice,although very basic,room was very clean.the manager gokhan was very helpfull, even taking us to village so we could, atm machine,to obtiane turkish money. with my partener having waking difficulties .gokhan arranged taxiies for us at no extra charge.would recomend to anyone.as for frogs in pool anyone would know frogs cannot live in chlorinated water it would poison them some people want five service fr two star price. ray jan. room 206

Room was very basic. Not a 3 star I would say. Very minimal utensils. Hob dirty with only a little metal pot to boil water in (no kettle). Fridge a bit worse for wear and sounded like a generator firing up. Shower poor. Generally a bit gloomy. A/c was extra. Outside area was better but when we first arrived the pool looked green and you couldn't see the bottom. There was even a frog that joined us in the pool! It was cleaner by the end of our stay. There were also 4 dogs living on the complex that, although friendly, kept barking through the night. We wouldn't go back here.
