Keskin is set in a unique location offering a holiday of peace and quiet. The shops, bars and restaurants are 250m away. Dalyan's famous turtle beach is 5km, easily reached by water taxi from Dalyan's riverbank.

Spent a great week at the Keskin. Our room was a bit in need of modernisation but it was kept spotless which is the most important thing. The towels were changed daily with the maid organising them on the bed in various arrangements - butterflies, flowers, hearts - a nice touch!
There is a fridge in the room stocked with drinks but you are not allowed to keep your own food/drink in it - signs say it will be removed and you can collect it from reception - we just removed our own drinks before the room was cleaned and replaced them later. Drinks at the hotel are quite pricey compared to the town.
The pools and gardens are lovely, in October there were plenty of sunbeds available but the pool was freezing.
Breakfast was enjoyable - as long as you like eggs! There was also various cereals, fruit, cheese, cold meat, olives, breads ect.
The walk into town takes about 15mins along the lovely river path - cut down a track at the side of Sirus Hotel to get on to it.
There are many restraunts in town, we found the food in most to be quite average but reasonably priced. We had our best meals in Carretta carretta and a place along the river path with huts on stilts (can't remember its name).
The river boats to the beach cost 7 lira each way, we tended to get the boat to the beach, walk along it (about 1 hour) and get the dolmus bus back (only one per hour on the hour at this time of year).
There are two mud baths with thermal springs, one across the river from the hotel and one at the lake, we went to the lake and it was great fun. People we spoke to said the one across from the hotel was just as good and cheaper to get to - but it was nice to see the lake.
There are many trips that can be taken from the resort - enough to keep you going for many weeks I think!
All in all it was a great holiday, the weather in october was fabulous and the hotel and resort nice and quiet at this time of year. I would recommend this holiday.

Overall, we had a marvellous holiday in Dalyan (me + 2 kids), and would definitely go back there. However, I would probably go to a different hotel for the following reasons:
Things we liked about the Keskin:
Clean, comfortable rooms - but basic
Lovely large manicured landscaped grounds - very pretty setting
Wonderful large & clean pool
Well staffed with friendly staff
Very quiet location near to river & restaurants, 20 min walk to Dalyan town centre
Thngs we didn't like:
Food! Very average quality for a 4* hotel. Compared to what you can get in town or outside, the self-serve breakfast buffet is poor quality. Edible - but very boring. Same with dinner. But at only 15 lira a head - what would you expect perhaps!
Noisy dogs roaming the grounds sometimes waking you up in the middle of the night with incessant barking.
Treacherous slippery marble surface around the pool.
Poorly stocked bar. Cheap beer - but not the better quality local beer (Efes). Why not?? Money pinching perhaps?
No life to the place. Quiet is not the word! Was expecting some sort of social event to get guests together - but not even a BBQ!
Not enough sun-beds around the pool - with many of these broken and unusable. Bad show!
Obviously the hotel has a model that works - it seems to be always full or nearly full - but I think it could become a fantastic place with a bit more thought and money spending on it.
Can I recommend the Keskin? Yes - but ...

We stayed in one of the new build apartments - clean & comfortable, not big but fit for purpose. We were told by others that the new accomodation was better than the older part of the hotel. Very nice swimming pools (3) with very pleasant staff at the hotel bars local to each pool.
B&B is definitely the best option at Keskin - the hotel food isn't great. Breakfasts are OK but limited in choice, and the one evening meal we had on the day we arrived was very average. Dalyan has LOADS of restaurants, fish is excellent (but ask the price before you order!!), and Turkish food is plentiful. There is a wonderful pancake house about 200yards away from the dolmus bus terminus (facing the pharmacy, take the road to the left - bougainvillia all around the front door).
Dalyan is quiet - if you want night clubs, karaoke and British theme pubs you won't find them in Dalyan.
I would happily stay at Keskin again, with my choice of room & B&B of course!

We were shown to a dirty room. The pool was full of children on lilos with water pistols and unless you got up at 7 a.m then you did not get a sun lounger, we sat and watched a couple of people walking round putting towels on them all. The breakfast was poor with stale bread, plastic cheese, and I don't know what the meat was. Most guests complained of diarrhea though you couldn't blame that on the hotel. We never met the tour rep and organised our excursions our selves. The staff were unhelpful and seemed fed up, no one talked to us, and when we left I realised how isolated we both had felt, to add insult to injury the airport tried to charge us £17 for two cheese rolls and two cans of coke

We booked this holiday at the last minute not knowing what to expect. When we arrived our fears were completely dismissed. The hotel is set in beautiful grounds that are tended daily. The room we had was large, very clean and modern with good air con at no extra charge. All the hotel staff were very helpful and friendly.
There was a good variety of food available for breakfast and the evening, (the evening meals are reasonably priced).
There are three large pools that were extremely clean all of which had plenty of sunbeds available.
In all we had a fantastic time and would return to the Kesin Hotel again and again.

A stroll along the river path from the town centre, so a little quieter than the town hotels.
Excellent buffet breakfast, good, basic lunches and evening meals, genuine friendly and helpful staff, clean airy, good sized rooms with a balcony and air conditioning (try and get a corner room as they have 2 windows and therefore are a little cooler) and a lovely garden setting.
A short transfer from the airport, minutes, not hours! With lots of bigger and busier resorts towns and places of interest nearby. There is a mini-mart a minutes walk away.
Lovely River walks the famous beach with turtles, a beautiful lake and nearby ancient ruins and tombs. There is nightlife in the town centre, but the Keskin is an excellent choice for those who like a quieter venue.

We booked our stay at the Keskin in Dalyan as a last min deal. When we arrived at the hotel it sup parsed all my expectations.
There are 3 pools with an abundance of sun loungers, there was not a day when we could not find a bed around any of the pools which was excellent. It is quite and very peaceful with the majority of the visitors staying whilst we were there being couples.
The rooms though a little small were well equipped with everything you need (apart from a kettle and cups) to make it a very comfortable stay. The rooms were also cleaned thoroughly every day with fresh towels and linen.
We stayed bed and breakfast which I would recommend. Though the breakfast is not the best I have ever had (don’t expect a full English) it is pleasant and plentiful with local foods on offer.
Eating outside the hotel is brilliant. The hotel is situated about a 10 min walk along a lit board walk that follows the river in to town. It is a nice stroll and even late at night it is safe and well lit.
Once in the town there is an abundance of restaurants and Tavernier’s over 100 in total which are all competitively priced and serve mostly fish which is all local, steak and local Turkish cuisine which is excellent. A trip to the Sini restaurant is a must. It’s off the main street but they serve traditional Turkish cuisine with a twist as well as a lovely environment to eat in. I would also recommend the tulip as you walk in to town.
The staff there are most friendly and very good fun. Finally we took the discovery Dalyan day trip bookend through the tour operator though you can also book through the boat men at the key for the same price. Highly recommend it going up to the mud bath, lake for some swimming, the tombs, and the beach to finish the day.
Over all we both had an excellent time in Dalyan and the Keskin which I highly recommend.
