Majesty Marina Vista Hotel

the hotel is beautiful, with a wonderful pool and roof restaurant (they best features). We stayed in the newly restored section, overlooking at the pool. The room is small so is the bathroom, with no bath tub. The hotel is located towards the west of Bodrum, still walking distance from the beach and downtown and accross from an impressive marina filled with beautiful galets. . We had a balcony overlooking the pool. loved it.

We decided to have 2 weeks in the Marina Vista as our apartment was being used by friends. What a wonderful time. The hotel is lovely - the staff are great - and the breakfasts outstanding. It is in a prime location and even has its own car park which is serviced by security. The pool area is so peaceful and sedate. You get frozen face towels and fresh fruit as you laze by the lovely pool. There is also a snack bar that serves lunch so you don't have to go far. The rooms are nice but the balconies very small - but then they don't need to be any bigger. We are going back again next year and highly recommend it.

Great location, lovely rooms, staff the rudest people i have ever had the misfortune to come across, rooms not cleaned for 1 whole week, only bed was made and towels changed, min bar was never changed and apparantly the hotel did not stock ice that you can take to your room. I noticed a distinct difference in service offered to British guests (poor) as opposed to other nationalities. Even if the staff were nice the hotel would only be classed as a good 3 star definetly not 4, certainly not by British standards. Only has internet access in hotel lobby so if you need to do any business while you are there forget about it. i cannot remember the last time i checked into a hotel room that didnt have access to the internet. If the staff were to go on a training course on how to smile this would make the hotel worth the money, however if you dont mind what the staff are like then the hotel is worht the money, a nice budget hotel.

I must say, the hotel is much better than it looks from the pics on the web. They should update their website photos because they are loosing out big time. I would give the hotel 5*, but unfortunately the service is not up to standard for this type of rating. Not only do the staff not understand ANY english, but they are actually quite rude and forgetfull. There are obviously some exceptions like the Spa staff that are quite friendly and a few cleaning ladies but the rest honestly need to be fired. The pancake guy should be the first to be kicked out - you can order pancakes to be made during breakfast but this guy makes what he wants when he wants ...so you can stand there waiting for it more than 10mins. The receptionists are appauling - we asked them to call emergency after seeing a family boat sink in the Marina late at night, we thought someone could be sleeping there and could possibly be drowning. The receptionist didnt want to call because according to him "thats what we do in Turkey" - let them die i think he meant! The swimming pool is amazing and so are the rooms - they are medium sized but quite modern. Location wise it is the best hotel you can pick from in Bodrum.

We couldn't believe as we walked in the hotel. The pool is stunning, the entrance, the rooms are brand new... The renovation is still being made, one can tell by a few workers around, but it is already brand new and wonderful. Best bet in Bodrum, since prices I believe are not up to the hotel. The only problem is the lack of English-speaking staff.

Stayed here on three occasions and it is an absolute gem. Walking distance to the town of Bodrum and located peacefully at the end of the main esplande, convienent for the marina. The beach resort of Bodrum is 20-30 mins away, so do as I do and relax by the gorgeous pool with shaded terrace bar. The staff on my visits cannot do enough to accommodate your needs. The breakfast served at this hotel is legendary and after this you will not need another morsel until you take a meze with some sundowners along the harbour.

I just came back from Bodrum and I stayed at Marina Vista. It's good and in an ideal position in the centre. It's still quiet although in the centre. I loved the swimming pool and the breakfast is fine. The room was a bit small and it definitely needs redecorating soon. Ask for rooms with a pool view. The staff are really helpful. Enjoy your holiday.

Stayed at the Marina Vista for 2 nights whilst on a property inspaction visit. I ended up paying a discounted rate of around £20 per night so I really cannot grumble. Didn't use too many of the hotel facilities but the Pool and Roof top restaurant overlooking the marina stood out. Hotel is very very white in the lobby but the staff were very helpful.Overall a little dated, but in a very convenient location. Would recommend for a short visit.

We arrived in Bodrum and were told that the hotel was along the waterfront. The main town of Bodrum isnt terribly appealing (the resort areas must be farther away). The hotel lobby and exterior is bright and white and spacious. The 40 meter swimming pool is centered in between the buildings holding the rooms. The corridors leading to the rooms were dark and not lit. The carpeting was also very worn. The rooms are very modest, poorly appointed, hard beds, lumpy pillows and a running toilet (they came 3 times and it still ran all night). There is a fitness center and a sauna which are both pretty attractive. Waiter service was good and the free internet is pretty nice to have as well. If you dont care about your sleeping location, the hotel is worth the additional amenities alone.

Situated nicely behind an esplanade of upscale boutiques and across from a marina---it has the feeling of being in the center of everything without being adjacent to the loud clubs or congested streets of the town center. Although I was there in May, so I don't know how it gets in high season. You can walk easily to anything and everything, including the castle. Rooms are very average---almost Best Western-like decor BUT the difference is that everything is here spotlessly clean. Not a romantic looking hotel, but since the whole of Bodrum offers that, why not save a couple of bucks? The pool is very clean and very big and offers a good escape from a busy day of sightseeing.
