Kervansaray Resort Reviews
" Great Holiday - No Complaints AT ALL "
Submitted By: Colin & CaroleWe were very warmly welcomed when we arrived early afternoon and as our rooms weren't immediately ready they took our bags and escorted us down to the restaurant for a very nice lunch and drinks.
Our rooms were spacious with good views and we couldn't fault them. Cleaners were good,Reception were helpful through out our stay and we found all the Bar Staff and Waiters to be pleasant and very obliging (even though we were English- see previous reviews)
Pools were good and clean, and we all enjoyed the pool slides (pool near hotel entrance). We did spend more time down by the sea on a very clean decked area, where there were ample sunbeds and umbrellas at all times - with two beach bars and a cafe. To get sunbeds around the pool, one of us had to be down there by 8am - but then we had a swim and went for a nice breakfast, we can recommend the omelettes and fresh pancakes and fruit.
We found the food to be of good quality and varied with a good choice of salads. Our teenagers joined us for every meal!
We especially enjoyed the BBQs every evening-the fish was the best we have had on an all-inclusive. If you want Chips, Pizzas, Burgers and stuff- they are available at the snackbars. We liked the turkish wraps at the beach bar.
Bodrum is worth visiting, especially the Market, Castle and Marina and it is easy to catch a dolmus(bus)from and back to the hotel entrance for less than a pound each way.
But we mainly ate at the hotel. There was live music at the pool bar till 12 and then a disco which our lot went to every night till the early hours and made some good friends.
It is true that the after midnight you have to pay Brighton prices for a drink, but all we will say is with six bars and a restaurant open from 10am until midnight between them that was indeed sufficient for us.................
Advice: A lively resort combining history, shops, traders and bars and restaurants
Activities:
Good for: Beach

" A fantastic resort!! "
Submitted By: HannieThe main pool area was always full, but we preferred to stay around a smaller pool (near the entrance) as it had water slides and this pool was much quieter.
There was also a lift going down to the beach which was all decked with sun beds on and also a bar down there too!
The food was fantastic, which loads of choice everyday, it would be difficult for anyone to go hungry at this place!!
The staff were always polite and friendly and went out of their way to please you
The only down side to the resort was that the evening entertainment was not the best, and if your there for a 2 week holiday you will see the same thing twice.
The is a small shop within the hotel on the ground floor which is quite expensive so if you want inflatables i would take them with you or go to Bodrum (the hotel offers a free bus service)
Taxis were also cheap and always available if you fancy a night out in Bodrum(6 person taxi was 40TL).
The rooms were spotless and cleaned every day.
There were safes in every room which were free to use.
Good for: Beach

Submitted By: Mrs D SARINThe hotel rooms were very clean and tidy and cleaned every day, and it was late in the afternoon so you never got disturbed if you wanted a lie in. On the night time when the entertainment etc had fininshed there was never any noise of people going back to their rooms. People were very repectful in that sense.
We have three children and were very worried about being split in opposite ends of the hotel as the maximum occupancy is three people, but we were next door to one another.
The hotel itself is massive it is situated over 5 floors but has lifts and escalators. it is def one of the best hotels that we have stayed in.
The food was very nice I am a very picky eater but always found something that i liked.
The only down side was that we could never get beds near the pool, they had always been reserved by people early in the morning, despite signs up every where not to do this. But we never let this spoil our holiday.
5 Out of the seven days we were there we got the litttle mini bus (Dolmus) into bodrum it only cost 10 YTL for the five of us which is approx £4. There was a magnificent marina loads of shops and bazaars, which is your chance of doing some haggling. my eldest son who is only 11yrs old haggled for a cap and got it half the price.
There is also a castle there which you can visit along the marina, which if you are into that sort of thing is well worth a look.
All in all it was a great holiday but there is more to resort than just the hotel there were people there who had never left the hotel all week because they were all inclusive.
There are lots of restuarants in the centre, there is even a mcdonalds. If you do venture into the town you must try a kebab they are amazing not like the processed crap you get here.
If you want a great hol then the Kervansaray is the place to go.

Submitted By: Miss D MarshallYou can never be bored at this place as the animation team are around most of the day and night with pool games to play, mini golf, darts, aerobics etc and shows to watch in the evening. They aren't pushy and if you don't want to join in they don't mither you.
There was a mixed range of people there ranging from couples, groups of girls, groups of lads, families so it caters for everyone and if you want a night out in Bodrum its not that far away.
The food was also very good and there was plenty of choice.
Although there weren't many other English people whilst we were there it didn't affect us in the slightest. It tended to be mostly Belgians but most seemed to speak very good English and were really friendly and of course the staff and animation team all speak English too. We made some very good friends out there who we have kept in touch with since we've been back.
All in all I can't fault the place and would definitely recommend it.

Submitted By: Mrs JA NuttallWe have just got home after a lovely week there and I wish I were still there.
The staff are very friendly and helpful; the Animation Team are amazing, absolutely hilarious, but very professional. There is a kids club, and pool entertainment in the daytime, a kid’s Disco 8:30pm and a show or competition every night at 10:00pm. The Shows were my favourite, I’ve never laughed so much the humour is centred towards adults but still being very funny for the children to watch. The Animation manager and team are very talented and I’ve never heard people speak so many different languages. I give the Animation team 10/10, the hotel 9/10 the rooms 7/10 this is because they are slightly basic, but immaculately clean, new towels every day. Food 7/10 there is enough for everyone and plenty to choose from and you don’t have to queue, but I give it 7/10 because children could do with there own little section with kids stuff like fish fingers, chicken nuggets beans etc as there is not always much choice for them especially if you have a child who doesn’t like food in sauces etc. The snack bar between 12 – 5 has burgers, chips, hotdogs, cheese toasties, jacket potatoes, pizza, spaghetti bolognaise and salad. The beer served is Tuborg that my partner wasn’t fussed about, as he prefers the Efes, but on a whole the place is Brill, and we will be definitely going back in the near future.

Submitted By: Mrs E PoultonWouldnt btoher taking your own towls as hotel provides bathroom towels in the room and on arrival you are given a beach towel card per person. You can then change your beach towels up daily at allocated times.
All drinks are free until midnight, after that the bars are still open but drinks will be charged to your room.
Wouldnt advise this resort if you have mobility problems as lots of hills and steps.

Submitted By: Mr O KanalHaving a one year old baby we were not sure about going on holiday, but Kervansaray hotel really caters for all our needs. I would recommend anyone with kids to go and have a wonderful time in Kervansaray - Bodrum hotel.
There were transfers to the town centre every 2 hours. The rooms were very clean. Our baby really enjoyed it too. I cannot say how much we enjoyed it and will recommend anyone to go and try it for themselves. I cannot say anything negative about it.

would definately recommend this hotel for any age.
