For some perfect for some not..
from Canabo
Hi there. I just came after my 2 weeks with my younger brother and i cant say anything bad about our stay but as usually few things could be better. As hotel generally is good with perfect location ( that cant be better in my opinion ). U can find there nice pool with 160cm deep and long enough to swim, pool bar with some " Dj Hassa " who actually has very nice music playing and is very happy to burn some for u with very little tip.. Terrace restaurant had just cool view and u can actually see whole Bitez from there, you can find some complaining about food in other reviews but i enjoyed the food pretty much and cant say anything bad. Rooms as i said before are little bit small without sea view but thay are clean and you find there as much as you need for stay. Hotel stuff were good and friendly with nice funny talk to them. Hotel has own private beach with food and drink service so you can enjoy sun for full and there is 2.5m deep sea so you can swim well in there as well or u can just simply go to public beach with bars and restaurants which is just 2minutes walk from hotel ( they have all food and drink service as well ). For a young and wild people who is looking for more fun then relax this hotel and actually whole Bitez place can be a little boring but if you are already there its just 5minutes by Taxi ( u pay 10TL = 5Euro ) and you are in Gumbet which has lots of night bars with music and dance whole night. That is all from my i think so if u are person who is going for relaxing time then this is place to go and if u are person who prefer party / dance sun holidays then it might be no perfect place but HEJ just take a Taxi and in 5 minutes...... :)
Holiday was a very unpleasant experience overall, would never stay there again..

My wife and I stayed at the 3S Beach Club in May 2008, we booked 2 weeks & have been to Bitez a number of times so were really looking forward to it again.. On arrival at the hotel we were accommodated on the second floor, the rooms where quite small & the balcony could only accommodate clothes drying. Within 5 mimutes we were advised by hotel staff that we were allocated the wrong room & we would have to move. We were relocated to the ground floor, with a garden view with really tall trees which blocked out the sunlight & made the room very dark. The following day we asked for a sea view & were told that we would have to pay an additional €50 euro per day which we considered very expensive so were not willing to pay, the room also was not equiped with any toilet rolls which we asked for several times but did not get & ended up purchasing our own. The rep in the hotel was never to be found & times posted on the reception wall for her meetings were incorrect most of the time. The sauna, massage & turkish bath were out of order for the week as their were building repairs being carried out & we were advised that these facilities would not re-open for a further 2 weeks. A number of times during the week there was no water to shower or use toilet facilities, & twice that week the electricity was out, there was an overpowering noise coming from a generator for the Hotel which was located right outside our hotel room which droned on each night & made it very hard to sleep. After a week of complaining to the staff who were extemily rude & getting no satisfaction from either them or our tour rep we decided to arrange to move to new accomodation ourselves which we found right next door, we were however out of pocket for the 2nd week of approx €250 euro for the cost of the new accomodation, but it was well worth it rather than have to put up with a further week of misery in this hotel. It wouldn't deter me from travelling to Bitez again as I love this part of Turkey with all amenities close to hand & a lovely beach & sea views which are breathtaking, I wouldn't recommend this hotel however & since our stay there my Wife & I have been successful in suing the tour operator for the whole inconvenience.
not great

This is not a four star hotel but as we got a good deal really cannot complain - but I will. Having paid for a sea view all we saw were trees but were moved after a day. This is the only hotel we've stayed in where the lobbies are much bigger than the rooms which are a strange shape. There wa no storage space for the suitcases. The fixtures and fittings are tired but the rooms are quite clean - not spotless as other reviewers have said. The food is very average. we were half board and on two nights the choice of main dishes were fish or leave it and chicken or leave it.. Unfortunately one night we had the chicken and like some others suffered stomach troubles. For two days I did't go to the restaurant but last night went for some bread and jam as did my husband. I had a cup of tea and he had two cups of coffee and dispite complaining were charged £5 for them. The hotel is in a good situation right on the beach but we discovered that the culvert alongside it is a sewer with the solids taken out!! Certanly the sea water is not clear which is what we have come to expect in Turkey. In short there are many better and cleaner parts of this lovely country to visit
Staff a credit!

I stayed at this hotel for 5 nights from 16th September 2008 up to the 20th September. I was travelling as a single 40 something female...so therefore was a little sceptical of visiting Bitez alone. I need not have worried though as there were 4 other single females staying at this hotel and the staff were quite simply amazing and made you feel very welcome! Praise especially for the waiters who worked 14 hours a day none stop to look after you.Nothing was too much trouble for the staff at this hotel. The hotel itself was in the best position in Bitez in my opinion. It was just away from the main centre of hustle and bustle, on a quiet stretch of private beach. There were plenty of sunbeds available, both on the private beach and round the pool. A very relaxed and unintimidating hotel because it was relatively a small hotel. The room was quite basic, but very clean and tidy. The weather was fantastic. The only downside was the food. A very poor selection on offer, even though what was available was relatively good. All in all a fab holiday!
lovely hotel

Just returned back from a week at 3s beech club. The hotel is beautifull it is not on the main strip which that it is lovely and quite however it is only a couple of minutes away from the centre of bitez. The hotel is spotless and the staff are always working and so happy and happy to help at any time. our first room did not have a sea view or a balcony we asked for an up grade and got it we did however have to pay about 6o pounds for 5 nights but well worth it. The views are stunning. The balconies are small however i could fit a chair out on it and a stool for my legs its not exactly roomy but does the job. Anyway no need for a balcony as beech just a minute from hotel, free sun beds with these huge comfy pillows you can put onto the beds amazing!! The beech is not big and never crowded one day there were 7 people on the beech which was just bliss, the views are just beautiful. We went half board and the food to me was fine, always plenty of it and quite a good selection the salads are to die for and the puddings well just unbelievable.Hotel works with credit card system which is great as you do not have to carry cah around with you. Bitez itself is quite small and a week was plenty for us. We did travel to Gumbet and Bodrum for shopping as there wasn't a hugue selection in Bitez, however we were glad to come back to bitez after our days out as it had a real turkish feel to it and you didn't really get hasselled when you walked up and down the strip! We booked a trip to a water park with Indiana traveling agency Mahoni and huso. Unfortunately my other half had quite bad prickley heat and couldn't go. I went down that morning to let them know and see if I could get any money back. THey were brill full refund no questions asked. Wonderfull hotel, wonderfull place, wonderfull people!!
Its OK
from LocW
Hi all. I stayed here with my girl friend for 1 week. The place is lovely, the bar is nice and the food is sensational. Bitez can be a bit boring. Its a nice place but there's only so much to see. full of dutch who just love to sit on the beach and burn. they don't seem to do anything else. We visted a lovely place called camel beach. very nice!!! Anyway the hotel is ok. There are only 4 rooms that have a seaview out of a possible 50 so if u think you are going to get a nice view, there is basically no hope of it. The restaurant is the best part. Or room was tiny, the shower kept falling off the wall and nearly knocked me unconcious a few times, and the aircon started to leak every 2nd day (not a 4 star hotel in my opinion). the staff are extremely nice and helpful except for one. I think his name is basil. he works in reception and he is arrogant and won't lift a finger for you. young guy with greasy long hair and very skinny. oh yes, and do NOT get ice in your drinks. I got hospitalised 4 hours before my flight home because of it. Other than all this, the hotel is in a great location and is nice. Its very expensive. 900 euro each is a terrible price to pay for this as the only fantastic thing about it is the food and the staff. It definetly is not a 4 star hotel. Oh yes, and try do the midnight cruise. its brilliant.
Excellent!

We stayed at the 3 S Beach Club, end of June / beginning of July for two weeks and had a fantastic time. The weather was mid 40's so make sure you take loads of sun cream, otherwise like us you have to buy more at £15.00 a time. When arriving at Bodrum airport you have to pay for a Visa (From the UK £10.00, 15.00 euros). It is definitely worth asking for a room upgrade if you are not happy with the room that you are given, we were put in a twin room with a window with no view, but we advised previously that it was our anniversary and were upgraded to a double sea view room which was so much better. A lot of people whilst we were there requested room changes. You are given a card on arrival to pay for drinks, food etc so that you don't have to pay cash, then you settle your bill during your stay or on departure. Drinks are quite expensive on-site (£3 beer, £2 soft drinks, £7.50 cocktails). We were half board. The breakfast is continental with a variety of different dishes. In the evening there are 4 hot dishes and a large variety of different salads. Once a week they have a bbq. The puddings are delicious, so many different cakes to choose from!! I wouldn't have any complaints about the food at all. Me and my partner were not ill the whole holiday, so it is safe to eat the salads, fruit and have ice in your drinks. The staff can not do enough for you. They work really long hours (16 hour days, 7 days a week) and are always so helpful and friendly and still running around after the guests. Hussain is the animations guy, a really funny and nice man. You can pay a deposit and have clean beach towels everyday and also pay to have the key to the safe in your room. We didn't have transfers with our holiday package so a taxi from the airport is approx. £50.00. You can pay for everything in Bitez in Turkish Lira, Euros or Pounds Sterling whilst you are there. The restaurants are only a few minutes walk away. The beach is ok although we stayed around the pool everyday. I would definitely return to this hotel in the future, it's clean, staff are so friendly and we had a great time.
3 S Beach Club / rip off hidden agenda
from suzgra
I am not moaning but just leaving genuine feedback which others should find helpful. At check in we were issued with a credit card valued at 100.00Euro / 200 T Lire which had to be paid for when the limit was reached. A very good idea as no money changed habds during the day with coffee and water at the pool and 1 or 2 bacardies and coke for my friend at night. One bacardi and coke was 9euro and the freshly squeezed orange juice at breakfast was also added to our credit card at 5Lire a glass i.e. 2.50euro and we had paid for bed, breakfast and evening meal. The food was good if you like salads but the deserts were excellent. The dinner menu consisted of some kind of turkish stew or lambs liver and chicken wings and rice but as I am not a meat eater it did not bother me but everybody else I spoke to were discusted with the set up. I had requested a sea view with balcony but was told that it was not included in the price we paid so we were asked for 150.00euro extra which after some haggling was brought down to 100.00euro. All you could fit on the balcony was the clothes rack for drying. No chairs or even a stool could fit but the view was breathtaking. Mustapha the porter was a gem as were one or two of the waiters. Would not go back to the 3 S Beach Club as there are far nicer places to stay. Bitez itself is just fantastic. Loved everything else about the place and the people.
Get an upgrade its worth it!!

We have just returned from staying at the 3 s Beach Club in Bitez, there were not many reviews on the hotel so i thought i would risk it from what information i could find around the internet. it was our first time out to Turkey so i didnt know what to expect, but it was really nice. when we eventually got there after the LONG transfer from Bodrum Airport i was tired and all i wanted to to do was have some food and a shower, we checked in and was given a card with credit on there for you to have drinks from the restaurant and the bar, this is then settled up at the end of your stay. ( BE CAREFULL AS THE DRINKS ARE EXPENSIVE!! E.G. WE PAID £2.50 EACH FOR FRESH ORANGE JUICE FOR BREAKFAST!!) during the stay all we had was 4 orange juices, 1 magnum ice cream and a bag of doritos that come to £21.00!! To some this may sound resonable, but in all fairness we had just come back from Egypt staying in a 5* Hotel and only paid £1.10 for fresh orange so for us going to Turkey we thought it would have been cheaper. but was proved wrong!! any way as for the rooms, the first room we were given was the size of MATCHBOX!! We had requested a sea view room and did have one-sort of! but the room was very very small, there was no where to put 2 suitcases we stayed there for one night then in the morning asked to have a better room, they didnt hesitate and helped us straight away, they were very helpfull and within a few hours they had prepared one of the better- MUCH BETTER rooms, there was so much room and it was decorated differenlty to the other standard rooms, my advice to u is when booking your room IMMEDIATELY REQUEST a POOL AND SEA VIEW ROOM as these are the rooms which are much more better. and the views are wonderfull. overall we had a wonderfull time and may consider returning back to 3 s Beach Club in Bitez. I didnt think much of the restuarant i am a vegetarian and didnt find anything to eat there, we decided to eat out every lunch and dinner time in Bitez which is only a short walk along the beach where there are loads of bars and restaurants to eat from. a few i would recommed are the "HARE" restaurant next to a carpet shop the service is amazing and so friendly, and the "GOLDEN SPOON" restaurant, again the service and quality of food is great! i hope this review has been helpfull, if u have any questions please feel free to contact me and i will do best to answer your query!!
Levely Hotel in great location
from FrannieDublinIreland
Four of us stayed in the 3S Hotel for a week starting 19th May 2008. Could not find any reviews online so thought I'd write one. The 3S is conveniently situated in Bitez only a short stroll from the centre. It is situated on the beach with free sun beds etc. It is a lovely modern hotel. Rooms are a bit on the small side and the room was a bit small (though perfectly adequate). Balconies are only suitable for clothes drying. Pool is lovely but has no shallow end which would make it unsuitable for small children or non swimmers. But the beachis right across the road and is shallow. We stayed on a half board basis. Breakfast was lovely, the usual buffet with meats cheeses cereals hard boiled eggs, fruit, yoghurt etc. Dinner was also fine. Soup, a limited selection of main courses (usually chicken beef or lamb) and on one occasion we have bbqd sea bass which was fantastic. There was also a great selection of salads. The view from the restaurant terrace is to die for looking out over the Bay of Bodrum. I would recommend 3S and may return in September. The hotel operates a credit card system for in house drinks meals etc which is settled when 100 Lira has been spent(about €50) and then renewed. Hotel prices are reasonable. I forgot to mention the desserts at dinner. Absolutely wonderful!!

We have just got back from a stay here and we found it to be a very pleseant experience! The hotel is nice, clean and well located, very close to all the restuarants/bars without being right in the middle and obviously, right on the beach! The rooms are a little small, but... more
