Submitted By: lotteryThe pool/bar area in very pleasant and the meals at the bar are very good. They serve breakfast lunch and dinners. Although, up the street there are a number of very good restaurants that are a bit cheaper. We liked the Chinese resteraunt on the roof terrace that has a wonderful view. They also serve very tasty traditional Greek meals as well as Chinese food. Also, Mere Metos is a very nice place too. Great homemade Pizzas.
The position of the apartments is ideal. Two minutes to the beach in one direction, where in costs 8 euros for sunbeds. In the other direction is the main street, which is a three minute walk. There are also 2 good supermarkets on the way.
Only critisism we have is that because of the heat in Rhodes, we found it very necessary to hire the air con. which cost us 115 euros for our 2 week stay. So add that onto your holiday budget. Also, beware of the mosquitos.
Overall, very good holiday and would recommend these apartments to anyone.

Submitted By: Mrs F CarrThey even recognised us from last year which was nice and the bars and restaurants we frequented the year before all welcomed you back.
The hotel is spotless and even the hotel rooms have a fridge which is a blessing. There are always plenty sunbeds too.
Hotel is only 2 minutes to the beach. Would definitely recommend this hotel and the resort.

" The hotel was lovely and very clean.... "
Submitted By: Miss J SmithThe only negative about this hotel is that the our studio was a bit basic and quite small therefore there was no way we could have prepared a proper meal.
Having said that in the resort of Pefkos there are so many restaurants that are excellent value for money there is no need to cook in your apartment!
The apartment is located at the bottom of the resort and is a five minute walk down a very dark (at night) and secluded path. The resort of Pefkos is quite family orientated therefore if you are looking for nightlife then head to neighbouring Lindos which is only 6 Euro in a taxi.
My two friends and I went almost every night and rarely came home before sunrise! It is brilliant!
My recommendations would be the Amphitheatre nightclub on a Friday and Saturday night which is located on a hill above Lindos, however you can get a free taxi up there from Lindos square.
For the rest of the nights then there are two clubs in Lindos which I would recommend; Cupi and Arches both sound are proofed therefore they can be hard to find, but both provide a good night out! None of the clubs in Lindos get going before 2am and go on to sunrise!
I would recommend Pefkos to families, couples, and groups of friends as you can relax during the day then head to Lindos for a lively night out!

Our accommodation is always lovely and the hotel is in a fabulous location for the beach and the centre of town.
Would defiantly recommend Flyers Bar, just off the beach for an escape from the sun and lovely Greek salad!
Pefkos, here we come and will no doubt return again and again!

Submitted By: amoruso1The people are so friendly and not just the locals but the tourists are too and most seem to return year after year, which says something in itself.
Never has one bad meal the whole fortnight in the resort. Recommend Nolstagia restaurant and the Wild West Bar.
We enjoyed ourselves so much this will be the first time we are returning to any hotel/resort 2 years in a row and are looking forward to returning in June.

The Thomson rep was brilliant - she gave us information on places to eat and were to go and explore and discover the true Rhodes.
This is a beautiful place and I would recommend it to families and couples alike, suitable for all ages.

" A thoroughly recommended stay.
Myself and a friend stayed here for 1 week during peak season. The Hotel although a little walk from the main street and tavernas is very clean, welcoming and comfortable.
The pool is a wonderful addition to the hotel and the pool bar is moderately priced and provides good value food. If you are looking for a more substantial meal, the main street is only a 5 minute walk.
The beech is a short walk away and for a few euros you can hop onto a glass bottomed boat round to the beautiful Lindos.
Without a doubt, I would return to this hotel in the future. A big thumbs up :)

Submitted By: Mrs K BrownlieEveryone made you feel at home in the Amphititri, bar staff friendly and talkative! E.g. when you come back from having dinner they don’t want you to go to your rooms! Funny though and a great laugh for all the family!
The place is very clean and isn’t too busy although when it comes to arriving at the airport that’s when it is busy! If anyone has been to Rhodes Airport they'll know what I mean! Absolute nightmare!
Still, it doesn’t put me off! I'll be back! xxxxxx

Submitted By: Miss H EylesThe Amphitriti had a very relaxed feel about it and there were plenty of sun beds to choose from, even if you arrived at the pool past 11am, which we did on a few occasions!
The hotels location was excellent, minutes away from the beach and a short but slightly uphill walk from the main strip.
The resort itself is has lots of restaurants & bars to choose from, our favourite was Enigma, which served gorgeous food and is well worth a trip. Many of the bars have quizzes, football, karaoke and so on along with music so something for everyone to enjoy.
I would say that Pefkos is an ideal resort for couples of any age as well as families and would highly recommend the Amphitriti.
The only thing I would say is that if you are departing on a Wednesday be prepared for lots of queuing both outside & inside the airport. This was the only tiny downside to a fantastic holiday.

The location of the apartments is spot on .Out of the gate turn left then right, there’s the sea.2 mins. Out of the gate turn left and left again up to the village 7 mins.
Must try bars and restaurants, Pefkos by night family bar, Alexandra’s bar, say hello to **** and ********* classy and nice (best giros on the island next door). Past Alexandra’s there are about 5 bars on the right as you go down the lane to the sea also try Flyers on the beach for lunch. Two brothers Grill is worth a visit. Typical Greek friendly service.

If your undecided about the resort please try it .This was our 3rd visit to Pefkos in 6 years. Its definitely worth a look. Lynne and Pete.
" I went on holiday to the Amphitriti... "
Submitted By: Ms S L DaleNot only was Pefkos an amazing place to stay nestled between spectacular mountain drops and sea views it was also next door to Lindos and the Acropollis and all the pebbled streets and roof top restaurants which were a must to see.
Pefkos itself had plenty of lovely tavernas to eat in and we recommend The Greek House for absolutely excellent food and service. We went out and about on trips and by taxi and we were glad we had picked Pefkos as had everything you needed but was a very relaxing resort to stay in.
The Amphitriti Studio we stayed in was very spacious and comfortable, cleaned everyday by the maid service and the family that run the hotel were there everyday all day and night to deal with any questions or requests.
They made you feel very welcome. On our first day we wandered down to the beach which was very sandy but after staying at the pool on the first day to chill out that’s where we stayed all holiday apart from out trips out as the atmosphere was excellent and the staff at the pool bar/restaurant made you feel very relaxed and you could have a laugh and a joke.
We would recommend Pefkos and this hotel/studio to anyone without hesitation.
When we arrived in Rhodes all be the flight was delayed by a few hours we did not have to wait to be taken by coach to Pefkos, we were put in a taxi straight away, which they paid for. On arriving at the Amphitriti we were welcomed and shown to our studio.
We saw the Thomson rep the next day for the welcome talk and booked a couple of trips. Did not see her again but we had no need. We did use the 24 hr help desk facility and found this to be excellent as they sorted a trip out that had to be rescheduled due to illness.

The rooms were spotless and the maid service was 3 times a week. I would definitely go back as it was the best holiday we had the weather was superb and there was plenty of bars and restaurants just a few minutes away.

Air conditioning is a must in June to August as it was VERY hot!!! And there was a small charge for this, Lindos is a 15min drive away in a taxi, which is a beautiful little town full of shops and restaurants, which are open all night. but all in all a fantastic holiday!!!!!!!!!!!!
