So good we came back here after our first visit in 2004 and are going back (yes again) in 2006. Accommodation is spotless as is pool and surrounding area.
Eric Katy and family really make you feel at home and its a pleasure to head back to the pool bar after an evening out enjoying a meal in one of the many excellent tavernas Greek night at the Amphitriti is excellent both in food and entertainment but remember to wear your ''swimmies'' for later.
Can't speak too highly of both Pefkos and the Amphitriti.

I thought this is an excellent place off accommodation. This was my second time coming here and as soon as I got home to Scotland I went on to the internet and booked my holiday for July this year back to Pefkos! To see Kate and the kids Nikos etc.
Everyone made you feel at home in the Amphititri, bar staff friendly and talkative! E.g. when you come back from having dinner they don’t want you to go to your rooms! Funny though and a great laugh for all the family!
The place is very clean and isn’t too busy although when it comes to arriving at the airport that’s when it is busy! If anyone has been to Rhodes Airport they'll know what I mean! Absolute nightmare!
Still, it doesn’t put me off! I'll be back! xxxxxx

My partner and I stayed at the Amphitriti Hotel for 2 weeks in September 2005 and had a fantastic time. The rooms, pool area and hotel itself was spotlessly clean. The maid service was excellent as were the rest of the staff.
The Amphitriti had a very relaxed feel about it and there were plenty of sun beds to choose from, even if you arrived at the pool past 11am, which we did on a few occasions!
The hotels location was excellent, minutes away from the beach and a short but slightly uphill walk from the main strip.
The resort itself is has lots of restaurants & bars to choose from, our favourite was Enigma, which served gorgeous food and is well worth a trip. Many of the bars have quizzes, football, karaoke and so on along with music so something for everyone to enjoy.
I would say that Pefkos is an ideal resort for couples of any age as well as families and would highly recommend the Amphitriti.
The only thing I would say is that if you are departing on a Wednesday be prepared for lots of queuing both outside & inside the airport. This was the only tiny downside to a fantastic holiday.

My wife and I stayed in the apartments in Aug/Sept this year. For Greek standards they were well finished off. (no dodgy electrics). The rooms were absolutely spotless. But at the time we went air con. Is a must (8 euros per day). The owners and the staff were all very pleasant. There are two pools ,one for adults and one for kids. The view from the shaded pool, is of a small air strip from which, a yellow thing made from cardboard boxes and cable ties takes off about 3 times a week. Past that there’s the sea.
The location of the apartments is spot on .Out of the gate turn left then right, there’s the sea.2 mins. Out of the gate turn left and left again up to the village 7 mins.
Must try bars and restaurants, Pefkos by night family bar, Alexandra’s bar, say hello to **** and ********* classy and nice (best giros on the island next door). Past Alexandra’s there are about 5 bars on the right as you go down the lane to the sea also try Flyers on the beach for lunch. Two brothers Grill is worth a visit. Typical Greek friendly service.
If your undecided about the resort please try it .This was our 3rd visit to Pefkos in 6 years. Its definitely worth a look. Lynne and Pete.

I went on holiday to the Amphitriti for 2 weeks with my partner and by the time it came to the end of our holiday came we did not want to come home. :O(
Not only was Pefkos an amazing place to stay nestled between spectacular mountain drops and sea views it was also next door to Lindos and the Acropollis and all the pebbled streets and roof top restaurants which were a must to see.
Pefkos itself had plenty of lovely tavernas to eat in and we recommend The Greek House for absolutely excellent food and service. We went out and about on trips and by taxi and we were glad we had picked Pefkos as had everything you needed but was a very relaxing resort to stay in.
The Amphitriti Studio we stayed in was very spacious and comfortable, cleaned everyday by the maid service and the family that run the hotel were there everyday all day and night to deal with any questions or requests.
They made you feel very welcome. On our first day we wandered down to the beach which was very sandy but after staying at the pool on the first day to chill out that’s where we stayed all holiday apart from out trips out as the atmosphere was excellent and the staff at the pool bar/restaurant made you feel very relaxed and you could have a laugh and a joke.
We would recommend Pefkos and this hotel/studio to anyone without hesitation.
When we arrived in Rhodes all be the flight was delayed by a few hours we did not have to wait to be taken by coach to Pefkos, we were put in a taxi straight away, which they paid for. On arriving at the Amphitriti we were welcomed and shown to our studio.
We saw the Thomson rep the next day for the welcome talk and booked a couple of trips. Did not see her again but we had no need. We did use the 24 hr help desk facility and found this to be excellent as they sorted a trip out that had to be rescheduled due to illness.

Me and my mum and brother went here...

Aug 2004, Miss N Loscalzo

Me and my mum and brother went here as a last minute holiday in August '04, the hotel was a family run hotel and everyone was really helpful and friendly.
The rooms were spotless and the maid service was 3 times a week. I would definitely go back as it was the best holiday we had the weather was superb and there was plenty of bars and restaurants just a few minutes away.
Air conditioning is a must in June to August as it was VERY hot!!! And there was a small charge for this, Lindos is a 15min drive away in a taxi, which is a beautiful little town full of shops and restaurants, which are open all night. but all in all a fantastic holiday!!!!!!!!!!!!

The Amphitriti is a modern hotel...

Jul 2004, sscoop

The Amphitriti is a modern hotel complex with both bed and breakfast accommodation and self catering apartments. It is a very friendly, family run hotel and the staff are always polite and ready to help. The rooms all have air conditioning which is a god-send in the really hot months and the pool and bar area are never too crowded. No getting up at the crack of dawn to bag a sun-lounger because there are more than enough to go round.
Pefkos is small but there are a wide variety of excellent restaurants and tavernas to choose from (I especially recommend Georges Taverna at the main crossroads for fabulous Kleftiko and Stifado!). There are bars and a couple of clubs and the atmosphere can be as lively or relaxed as you want it to be.
Pefkos is good but can be really hot because of the shelter of the spectacular mountains so you really need to hire a car and check out the rest of the island, which is cooler. Car hire has become really reasonably priced and a 3 day air conditioned car cost from £30 for 3 days - only £10 a day! including full insurance.
One not-to-be-missed destination is the Old Town in Rhodes Town. Meander through the old cobbled streets, the historians can visit the Palace of the Knights of St John and the shopaholics will love the hundreds of shops selling jewellery, hand made ceramics, leather, glass, designer (almost) handbags and clothes as well as the usual souvenir stuff. Visit at night for an amazing experience.
There are also many other smaller towns and villages dotted around and some secluded beaches to cool off in the sea. We stopped off for a swim and had a beach almost completely to ourselves.
Rhodes is a great destination for couples or families (there is a funfair and a water park on the island to keep the little ones amused) and Pefkos is a fun, friendly resort, just don’t forget a sun-hat and stick a bottle of water in your freezer to keep it cool all day - you’ll need it.
