Our family holiday at the Stella Palace Hotel was probably the most disappointing holiday we have ever had. It isn't the four star Thomas cook holiday that we were expecting, more like a three. The web page is deceiving it shows a lovely display of prawns and we didn't see a single prawn all week. The maincourse food in the restaurant was cold, even when we made sure that we were the first people in at 7pm, the restaurant manager advised me to use the microwave. Reception - some people very helpfull, others less ... all guys very helpfull -> Lack of possibility to extend room earlier than a few hours before check out is very unconvinient ! Main Restaurant - Some waiters very helpfull, but others serving very automaticaly. Mini Club - it's open for 5 hours a day and full closed out of the hours. We spent 1 week with my wife in stella palace and we really enjoyed ourselves,the personnel of the hotel was very professional in most of the departments .The facilities and the layout was perfect.One think that they could improve is the variety in the main restaurant could be better. Dont know if we would go back to the hotel but for sure i would recommend this hotel

My wife and I took one of our grandchildren on holiday to this hotel for 2 weeks on an all inclusive basis from the end of May 2010 to 10th June. On arrival we were the only three people checking in the staff were very pleasant and attentive but failed to spot that I had emailed the day before requesting a ground floor room by the pool but when I mentioned this they selected a differant room and then loaded our cases onto a golf buggy and took us to our room, all vey nice. I, my partner and Mother and Father visited the Stella Palace for 10 days on the 11th May 2010. First impressions of the hotel were good, nice reception area and rooms were nice and spacious with good size balcony. The pool area is also lovely with huge swimming pool and plenty of sun loungers with white pads. The pool bar is the main area for drinks in the day and in the evening, although not overly big, the staff especially in the evning were great! We have just returned from a holidays in Stella Palace and our comments are as follows: Location - if you look for a fabulous beach or active nightlife in the neiborhood, this place is not for you. The hotel is located in the outskirts of a small village and it is virtually in the middle of a empty field. Although the webpage of the hotel claims that they have a private beach, it is extemely small and does not really look particularly attractive. This is a new hotel near old Stella Village, but the service and rooms are much better. The rooms are not large, but cleaned regularly. The staff in restaurant is helpful and friendly. For all meals you can always choose something delicious. If you come to get quite rest, you will enjoy it. You can get Analipsi by foot for 15 minutes. The hotel is at the end of the row of hotels. You may not like the beach of the hotel, but if you go along beach, you will find a great sandy beach on the left side, which is clean and never busy.
