Milsoms Bath Hotel

This hotel is part of Loch Fyne Restaurant and is situated above the restaurant in Milsom street in Bath.
I imagined the hotel to be quite grand even though the website said it was quite small!
When we arrived the reception room is on the 1st floor so as you enter you are greeted with a staircase - not too good for those who don’t do stairs!
When we got up stairs, the reception was actually closed! You had to get your room key from the restaurant - back down the stairs!
The room, I imagined to be quite spacious and airy, unfortunately it was small and the en-suite, which had been squeezed in along the wall behind the bed was equally small and gloomy, not what I had imagined from such a renounced restaurant chain.
The best part of my stay was the evening meal in the Loch Fyne Restaurant and the breakfast which was also held in the restaurant.
I would suggest if you want more space then there is a Travel lodge next door!
