What a disappointment!
I stayed two nights at the Distillery House with my husband and my 3-year old daughter and I've got to say I wasn't overly impressed.
This B&B advertises as the "Best of the Highlands". Well I wonder what the other ones must be like...
Our bedroom was nice enough but it was really cold although the heating was on full blast. The bathroom was even colder with just a tiny heated towel rail to warm up the room.
Breakfast was nicely cooked but you had to decide the night before what you wanted the next morning and what time you wanted to have breakfast (so much for relaxing while on holiday and getting up whenever you want).
Also, I don't really know what I fancy for breakfast 12 hours before I'm actually supposed to have it.
The owners were not particularly friendly, running their place more like a hotel than a B&B, which is not what we were looking for otherwise; we would have gone to a hotel!
And all that, for the price of £76/night!
When I compare that with the lovely room and place we stayed in Edinburgh for only £65/night, I really don't think it was worth it.
If you want to stay in Fort William, I'm sure you can find some much nicer places for a cheaper price as they are definitely not "the best of the highlands"!
