Enjoyed my stay here. We've been going on holiday to this part of Cornwall for years. Pleasantly surprised with the quality, as Newquay can sometimes be very hit or miss. Nice clean apartment, well decorated with large immaculate gardens. We only used the pool once which was fun and kept the kids (and granny) happy. Just out of the main bit of town which was nice for heading out on day trips. It took us about 15 mins to walk into the the main bit of town. The town centre isn't great (soooo busy) however the surrounding areas and beaches are utterly lovely.

We are regular 'self -caterers', so we have seen some good, bad and appalling apartments and cottages.The Cheviot apartment is the cleanest and best equipped one that we have stayed in.In addition the area is so beautiful with walks along and around the Gannel estuary 'a must'.

  • Advice: if you like walking,leave the car at the apartment

Having come on to this review site to see what people thought about a place I was thinking of staying at abroad, I thought I would see what people are saying about the Cheviot Aparments and I Can't believe nobody has come on this site to rave about these apartments apart from my sister in 2007, but its true what they say people only put reviews on to complain when really we should all say when a place is fantastic and these apartments are outstanding in every possible way.
We have stayed for three years on the run, with differing numbers in our party each year,
growing every time so we have stopped in apartment 2,3 and 4 with a wide range of ages being accommodated and we have all thoroughly enjoyed it every year. The apartments are a true home from home with no detail spared, there is not a single item that is missing to make your stay here the best you could have and everything is spotlessly clean.
Would definately recommend these apartments to anybody of any age............faultless !!

Just spent a week at Cheviot Apartments and have to say what a fantastic place.
Our party consisted of three adults and two children and we all thought our apartment was faultless. We stayed in a three bed roomed apartment which was large, clean and extremely well cared for.
The whole place looked recently decorated and all furniture and carpets appeared new.
The kitchen and lounge had everything you could possibly need, a real home from home. There was even a fresh pint of milk, tea and coffee waiting for us.
The garden areas were beautifully maintained and the patio areas real suntraps. Plenty of off road parking and lovely views. The owners were extremely friendly and helpful.
This accommodation is worthy of its 4star rating. We would definitely stay here again.
