If you can avoid this hotel, please do...
from Lennonlane
This is probably one of the only hotels that you can stay for one night at the weekend, but nevertheless it was terrible to stay in. The £5 deposit we were made to put down for the room key and were promised to get back when we left, was not mentioned as the crazy owner rushed us out of the hotel. If you can avoid this hotel, please do... The bed covers were stained with blood, along with other dirty marks. The room was very dusty and the bathroom wasn't much better. Dont be fooled by the website which looks lovely, its really not.
Great Hotel!!!!!!!!
from brightongirls
This hotel was the most eccentric hotel me and my friends have stayed in. It has a unique quirkiness about it and so does the owner! Everything down to the beds were for sale and the atmosphere and ambience were down to earth yet funky. It was very clean and each room had its own individuality I recommend if you fancy popping to Brighton for the weekend with your mates on a budget make this your first port of call. See you in March!!

I'm at something of a loss to describe this place without using expletives. Those with a tolerance for stronger language can find my fuller opinion at mohairdiaries.blogspot.com along with the opinions of one of my colleagues. That this "hotel" is allowed to remain in business is an absolute disgrace. I was only there for an overnight stay for a business meeting, so at least my disgust at the awful place didn't ruin a holiday or ruin my conception of Brighton or indeed England. Many will not be so fortunate, which is awful. Please, please...

The Malvern Hotel. The standards of this "hotel" are disgraceful. If you’re planning on staying in Brighton, avoid this hotel completely. It was dirty, dusty, tiny, smelly and over-priced. The bed covers were blood stained. Under the bed was a thick rug of dust, mouldy... more
