From the outside, this hotel looks quite gloomy, it has grey walls and is quite imposing. But inside the atmosphere changes and the tasteful decor and pleasant staff make a very enjoyable stay.
Situated right across the road from the 'falls of Laura' which is a tidal river - it is very calming to watch the water cascade over the rocks - especially from the road bridge that goes across the river.
There is lots to see around the area, with Fort William and Oban only a short distance away and many castles to explore for the little ones. Our children were very much welcomed into the Falls of Laura Hotel and we would definitely go back again.
