Fantastic privately owned villa. The views are out of this world. Villa is idyllic spot directly overlooking whole bay of Agia Kyriaki. Views from your pillow.
3 gorgeous bedrooms and there are really caring little extras. Quality of everything in it was excellent. The pool was really crystal clear and it has its own proper garden. Lovely to have spacious place that really did have enough - and more - for the six of us.
Also had huge patio area so you could really spread out. The village is very quiet - only a couple of local tavernas but a great fish restaurant almost dropping into the water at the harbour edge. If you want peace and quiet and to unwind without the hoards and with the most wonderful views it's brilliant.
We also got to know quite a few of the local villagers who were really friendly. - so we really felt we were part of the place. Zola is off the tourist track and these people have really got it right with this place. The beach is just a short walk down the road and is sand and shingle and we visited Myrtos Bay just a few minutes drive and Assos - the villa overlooks this across the bay but mainly couldn't drag ourselves away from the villa and pool.
The maid says they take bookings for a lot of couples or groups of friends/family. Probably not for you if you want nightlife and jewelry shops but only half an hour by car to the capital Argostoli or the other big town Lixuri which have really good restaurants and more life.
I would recommend this place for the more "discerning" traveler who wants a villa which really makes you think the owners have thought about it, and clearly love the place, so you feel really welcome. I wish I could buy it!!!!
