Comments:  Fourth time in Florida, first time in a house. Clean and spacious accomodation that's fairly close to a food shop with pharmacy (Publix, I think), with all houses under about 5 minutes from the main reception area (which had a shallow pool and a lazy river).

The specially built complex of 'townhouses' is about 15 minutes from Disney Parks and about 40 minutes from Universal, by car. The terraced house we rented was really big inside with three double bedrooms all en suite. Two bedrooms - one with Queen size and one with King size bed were upstairs - plus a twin room downstairs (this was the only draw-back really as we have two grown-up children and the boy didn't really like being downstairs away from the rest of us). Supposedly sleeps eight as there is a sofabed in the lounge.

Plus side, was the short distance to Disney which is ideal for younger children, but 40 minutes from Universal meant that if you wanted to eat out along International Drive, you had to come home, change and go back out which lost you about an hour and a half travelling. A bit of a problem if you also fancied taking advantage of the cheap dollar to buy up everything from the Malls!

The staff were okay, didn't really have a lot to do with them as we were mostly out. One-off cleaning fee when you check in of about $55 dollars, although this is for cleaning your home AFTER you have left. No replacement linen or towels, but since you have a washing machine and drier, that's not really a problem.

You have to buy all your own stuff like washing liquid for dishwasher (or fairy liquid if you're going to slum it) soap, dish clothes, dish towels etc - although you do get toilet tissue that will last a day or two.

Swimming pool, surrounded by a million loungers, was shallow and the lazy river was only really suitable for younger kids. If you want internet access through one of their computers it was $15 per hour! But if you took your own laptop then you had free wireless in your house.

A basic ItalianAmerican restaurant was about a mile away (turning left down US27) and there was 'fishand chip' place next to the food store and Pharmacy - bit Brit orientated for our liking.

Overall, good value, big and enjoyable with a slight feeling of living on an estate in the US. Having stayed along International Drive before it seemed a little far away from the centre of thing, but if you are going to do a two week holiday and only a week in the parks and the other with your younger children (up to the age of about eight - ten) then I would recommend it.

Comments:  Spring Break! Sunny Orlando! Very disappointed. We are resort owners with Consolidated Resorts at Tahiti Village in Las Vegas and we traded our time to stay in Orlando and visit Disney and Universal Studios. I thought, with 3 bedrooms and 1300 sqare feet and such a nice pool advertised that there would be no problems. I was wrong.

We have a very long flight to Orlando from where we live and did not arrive at the resort until after 11pm. Check in went well and the staff was very friendly. But then we found out that our condo was nearly a 1/2 mile from the pool and clubhouse. Not exactly "as advertised". Our five children could not walk to the pool as stated by Consolidated Resorts when I booked my reservation.

I had a few issues with the layout of the condo we stayed in. First, while there were indeed three bedrooms, it was NOT the 'typical' layout and thus, did not really fit our family. We ended up moving the fold out couch into the 'den' area downstairs so that our two boys could have a room of their own. There were no extra pillows for the fold out couch, the front desk did not have any, and housekeeping was closed until morning. The mattress on the couch still had plastic on it and obviously had never been made with sheets or anything. So, after 8 hours of flying time, we all finally fell into bed around 2:00am...some of us without pillows.

We were told at check in that BBQ's could be delivered to our condo upon request, but then when we did ask, we were told, very harshly, that they were a fire hazard. Yet, our neighbor had one delivered to their condo. Hmmmmmm.

All in all, it was not my favorite place to stay. The kids enjoyed the water slide and the lazy river was great. The hot tub was always full and in my opinion, not big enough for a resort of this size. It was too far away from Disney and Universal to be efficient...25 minutes to Disney World and 33 minutes to Universal Studios and 45 minutes to the airport. I probably won't waste the time again to stay here, although some with smaller families might find it better. For trade value, it was not comparable to Tahiti Village in Las Vegas and had much less ammenities. I did notice that a Marriott Resort is within 10 minutes of Universal and Disney World that we will look at trading for next year.

Comments:  This was truly one of the nicest places we have ever stayed. We booked with house owner directly. Everything he claimed on his website was entirely true. We stayed 14 nights starting March 4th.

Check in was a breeze. We had No issues at all. The house itself was immaculate. It had 3 bedrooms (all with their own full baths), a very nice sized kitchen, a laundry room with washer/dryer, a dining room, a nice size living room, and a balcony off the master bedroom.

The pool area is just as great as everyone else is describing it. The water is nice and warm, the water slide and lazy river are great, and the snack window (where you can get anything from Pina Coladas to steak) was good as well. The playground inside this area was an added plus for the kids. They loved every minute of it.

The fitness center was really nice, and the separate hot tub in there was a plus. We ate at the on-site restaurant one night, and the food was good. It was priced similar to most mid-scale, chain restaurants (Outback, Carrabba's, Red Lobster, and the like).

The fact that there was a Publix supermarket a stone's throw away was great for us. It saved us money buying food there, and cooking, rather than going out to eat every night. Check out was also a breeze. We had no issues there either.

All and all, we had a great time. The kids loved it and it was extremely clean, so it passed my major concerns with flying colors. We will be back next year, that's for sure!!
