Balvicar Chalets are in an ideal location if you're looking for peace and tranquillity.
They made the ideal retreat after our long days out touring around the highlands. The view from our chalet was amazing!
The cleanliness of the well equipped kitchen, living/dining area, bathroom, and beds were to an extremely high standard and the chalet was very warm and cosy in the evenings.
I did expect to be feeding the electric metre with £1 coins nonstop (which has happened in previous accommodation I've stayed at) but this wasn't the case here.
It's a good idea to take wellington boots if you want to wander along the shore looking for muscles, cockles, and oysters. They come in useful when setting out in the rowing boat too.
Mobile phone reception isn't good. But that was a bonus for me!!
The owners of the chalets are very very friendly and approachable.
I have no hesitation what so ever recommending this accommodation.

This amazing little place tucked out of the way of every day life is the ideal base for visiting Oban and the surrounding area.
Balvicar Chalets is a small complex of wooden self catering chalets with two bedrooms, bathroom, a living and dining area and well stocked kitchen. You will find the owners most accommodating and helped with our young children, they were only too pleased to help.
