Plaza Hotel

The hotel is clean but very basic, the staff are helpful and friendly, but offered little or nothing in the way of food or heating. The restaurant was never open at night and the hotel never had the central heating switch on at all which made it feel like an ice box especially in the mornings!
There was only one small heater in the rooms which was ok but really quit inadequate in early March as it can be very cold in northern Spain at this time of year.
If you ever book with roomsnet.com please check that you are getting what you want, they described this hotel as very near to the beach, so we thought it was next to the sea but this was not so! The hotel is miles inland, nowhere near the coast.
I complained when we got back, they give us an apology but I don’t know if the description has been changed so please check before you book.
