We travelled to Vegas as my parents were renewing their wedding vows. After the trip as much as they said their hotel was great (the Mandaley Bay) they would have preferred Hooters where we stayed.
It is in a great location, isn’t as huge as the other hotels (which you can visit anyway, the MGM Grand is probably as close to walk to as your room) and has great bars and food, as well as the casino.
They offer a great club were you can earn points when you gamble for food, drinks or in the gift shop.
The room had been recently refurbished, the pools great (check out the weekend pool parties) and the spa is cheaper than the usual strip hotels, and is pretty good!
Many would think that this is a bloke’s hotel, but it isn’t, yes there are girls not dressed in many clothes, but all the cocktail waitresses in the big hotels do this.
We have booked to go again in Jun/Jul this year and I can’t wait to stay at Hooters again.

I booked a two week stay at this hotel through 3 different internet sites, because of the price fluctuation between week and weekend bookings for Las Vegas (always more expensive on a weekend!).
When I arrived at the hotel I showed them my bookings and they ensured a smooth transition for the fortnight - i.e. - there was no changing rooms each time I went to a different "reservation".
The Hotel is excellent value for money; it is almost on "the strip" just opposite the MGM Grand.
We had a "tower" room overlooking the pool, which is extremely pleasant, and we even watched a wedding take place around the pool one day.
There are two restaurants in the hotel (just off the casino) a casual dining, burgers etc and one more formal. Both were had excellent food and service.
The staff are extremely helpful and courteous and cannot be faulted.
It is on a smaller scale to a lot of the hotels in Las Vegas, but does have its own casino.
I cannot fault this hotel and when I go back to Las Vegas I will certainly stay here again.

This hotel is in a fabulous location, just off the strip and therefore you are not paying "inflated" strip prices to stay there. There is a casino which you do have to walk through to get to the elevator to go to the rooms. The elevator is "key" activated and therefore there are only hotel guests having access to the floors with the rooms.
The pool area is very nice (and we even saw a wedding take place around the pool from our balcony!).
The staff are excellent and very helpful.
There is a bar and restaurant and although the hotel is smaller than the more flamboyant strip hotels, I would certainly recommend it and would certainly stay there again.
