Im shocked by peoples comments about the hotel. An obvious fault, being the hill which you have to climb up to get to the hotel from the beach has been overlooked by many people who have wrote reviews. That was a problem which we found.
I found that the food was poor apart from the rare occasion of something nice. The food is basic, ranging from freezer food to pasta and chips.
Apart from the over rated reception area and the toilets on the ground floor, the rooms were simple and the cleaning was also average on most days.
I think 4 stars is too much, as I felt that the hotel met the minimum requirements.
I wouldn't go back to this hotel again.

Went there with family. It is not really a 4 * hotel more like a 2* the maid was thieving clothes we had bought and money we left in a hotel room she took 50 euros and left the purse open we did report her to reception only said that cause we didnt have a safe then its not there fault. very noisy hotel and is defferntly not worth a 4* hotel the only best thing about it was the food but wouldent recomend it and make sure you take money and al valubles with you cause the maid s a complete THEIF!!

I'm 21 and my fella is 22.
Went for 10 nights and couldnt really say a bad word about the hotel.
On arrival we got dropped off at the bottom of the road due to work being carried out! You CAN go through the bit that says sumet about a nightclub as we walked straight past it and went to the top of the hill when not needed!
The hotel has its own nightclub...which was dead and only open at like 12am - 2am!
There are a few building sites around the hotel due to new hotels/apartments being built but we hardly heard them and it wasnt a problem.
Room was everything you needed, Clean and tidy...and quite posh! Cleaners were pleasant too.
Food was excelent!!! The coffee is AMAZING!
They even have bottles of champagne for you to poor yourself in the desert bit from breakfast onwards!
Hotel staff were friendly and polite. Bar staff are cheerful but check your change works out correctly!
Pool wasnt cleaned daily so be prepared to be swimming with newspapers and bits of palm trees!
Indoor pool was great tho!
Gym was broken.
The hill that everyone complains about ISNT that much of a problem...but SHOULD be advised to the elderly when booking this complex as it is a shame watching them 'try' to walk up and down it just to go get a paper etc. Even tho the bus is there that runs every half hour.
Evening entertainment was ok. We found the hotel was full of Spanish on the weekends which gave an atmosphere...a gud one but could be intimadating to some.
Wouldnt go again but was a pleasant experience!

We stayed here at the end of September as a cheap last minute deal. We flew out 6 days after we booked. We didn't have very high expectations with it being so cheap but we were pleasantly suprised. The hotel was un-named and they just suprise you when you get there, and we definately struck lucky!
The hotel itself seems very grand. The lobby and other areas around the hotel were well presented, clean and modern. Our room was spacious and comfy, with a great view from the balcony. The pool was lovely. Plenty of space to sit around and really quiet. The food was great and the staff were friendly. We had an excellent cheap holiday but would recommend this hotel even if we had to pay full price!

Me, my wife, and 2 children, with 10 and 4 years old, stayed at the Palm Beach Hotel from 25 August to 3 September 2006, in FB.
The hotel is beautiful and well run. The service is a 5 stars and the price we paid was above a 3* hotel.
The food is very good for an hotel, the pool, and garden fantastic. All the staff was excellent and the entertaining team, Gonzalo and Javi, are the best.
This 2007 summer, we had already booked the Palm Beach. All the family is waiting for this holiday.

I stayed at the Palm Beach with my partner and my 2 year old. Benidorm itself is somewhere I would never visit again.
But as for the Palm Beach if I could lift it and place it in Majorca or Costa del Sol I would.
This hotel is just beautiful... fantastic gardens, entertainment, kids park, 5 aside football pitch, pool area.
As for the food it was beautiful. The restaurant is big and spacious. Food selection is fantastic, also there is something for everyone in this restaurant, should it be breakfast lunch or dinner.
The service in the restaurant is impeccable along with the maids that service the rooms and the maintenance workers.
They have their own taxi service within the hotel and also a bus stop just at the end of the drive with a bus service that takes you the length and breadth of benidorm.
Its only downfall is its situation it is up a very steep hill known locally and by anyone who has walked it as heart attack hill!
Someone who is prepared however to take a taxi to town at 5euros each time this will not matter.
I could and always would recommend this hotel every time. As for the building work... yes it was going on but hey, if it wasn’t for us holidaymakers they wouldn’t be building.

This would of been a good hotel except for the noise From 8am to 7pm the noise was horrendous. They are removing the hillside at both the back and side of the hotel. A drilling machine is going non-stop during daylight hours except Sundays.
This completely ruined our holiday. I realise this is not the hotels fault but it would have been nice to know about it. It is quite evident that this is going to be going on for months if not years. I would advise anyone to avoid this whole area not just the Palm Beach.

The food is typical of somewhere that is catering for all ages and nationalities, however we found the hot food was cold and the choice uninspiring. No problem getting a table, only had to queue on Sundays.
The pool was fine, plenty of sunbeds, except Sundays when the hotel gets very busy with locals.
The building work was still going on and will be for quite a while and yes, it is noisy and all day and yes, it did get irritating.
We found the rooms clean and comfortable, but the lifts too small and infrequent, with some waiting time.
The reception staff were unhelpful and unco-operative, and they lacked local knowledge. Also, their English is limited which is also frustrating.
It was cheaper to hire a car than pay for transfers to and from the airport and it was the easiest car hire we've encountered, no problems at all. Be warned, park only in proper bays, there are no signs to say it will be towed and ours was!
Excellent seafood restaurants in Calpe, we tended not to eat in Benidorm (all English pubs/restaurants, chips etc with live coverage of soaps) we wanted to get away to a real Spanish fishing village that was not too touristy. Very enjoyable holiday.

The hotel is clean and the staff friendly even the food is nice!
The rooms are cleaned regularly. The one big complaint I have is not about the hotel but about the travel agent who never informed me that there are at least 2 building sites surrounding the hotel. From 8am - 8pm Mon-Fri the building work is carried out. It is very loud and I found this ruined my enjoyment of the whole holiday! I would have never booked the hotel if I had known about the building work.
Thank you Expedia!!!

Very grand entrance to hotel!
nicely furnished room but bad location[facing a wall] could be that this was a bargain break price @ £250.00 for the week?
room was clean & attractively furnished, the staff were friendly enough but lots of Spanish people stayed at this hotel & seemed to get preferential treatment!...especially in the restaurant. Not really suitable for people with walking difficulties as is located on hill[ok going down. takes approx 20mins to walk to beach!
the small pool area again was attractive but lost sunlight late afternoon due to surrounding trees, but you could relocate to sun terrace....
overall a very nice hotel, food ok! But check out room location before setting down luggage.
