We stayed at St Denis for 7 nights from 19th July 2011 and had a very pleasant stay.
So nice we have already booked to go back next year!
The spacious apartments were very clean along with the pool and bar area, cleaners were out early every morning making sure the sun beds and around the pool were ready for the day.
All the staff were very friendly and helpful.
There are the inevitable sun bed hoggers and it’s a case of ‘If you can’t beat them join them’
To get your favourite spot will mean putting towels out at 8 in the morning.
Our two children aged 6 and 8 quickly made friends and the atmosphere was great with all the kids getting along.
Food and drinks available at the poolside bar were very nice and the music played was varied and not too loud.
If you choose the aircon and have the windows closed it is very peaceful considering how close it is to the restaurants and bars, other people managed without aircon and had no trouble sleeping with the windows open.
There are plenty of nice places to eat including ‘Asian Feast’ the Indian and Chinese restaurant that we visited twice as the curry was so good!
The beach is just a short stroll away and is perfect for kids as it stays shallow for a long way out along with toilet facilities and shower right at the beach edge.
Spiros, the captain of a 24 seat 400hp speedboat does a terrific trip to the smugglers cove ship wreck and the blue caves.
It sets off from Tsilivi harbour, which is a left turn when you get to the beach and around a 12 to 15 minute walk.
The boat is small enough to get inside the caves for a good look and is fast enough so the kids don’t get bored on the trip.
Children and the ladies are treated like royalty and all get to drive the boat.
Tsilivi is a very clean and welcoming resort with plenty to keep the kids happy.
Highly recommended.

Spent two weeks at St dennis wish we could of stayed longer. If you have any problems don't be afraid to ask, we put in a bizarre request to change the toilet seat as it was yellow and they saw to it straight away!:) The staff where very friendly and helpful. clean spacious apartments with full cooker and fridge freezer. well kept garden and pool area. Never go back to the same place twice but if we did we would defiantly come back here! FANTASTIC :)

Just got back fom the St Dennis apartments and it was superb. All the staff are very friendly and helped with any problem you may have. The ladies that clean the rooms work very hard and helpful. Bed linen were changed regularly as were the towels. Floors swept and mopped every other day. The pool bar can be loud but the bar staff work very hard and keep the guests enteratined. The food was good around the pool tasty and filling. Your usual annoying sunbed towel layers were out and about sometimes not occupying the sunbeds till mid afternoon.
The place is ideal for families only a two minute walk to the beach where the waves were great fun. Around Tsilivi there were many restaurants all had huge choice of menu, something for everyone. very nice people. cost for family of 4 ranged from 45 to 70 euros, portion sizes good value for money.

Spent 2 weeks at the apartments in July 2011, there was a group of us there for my daughters wedding. The staff were very friendly and the apartments were very clean. Great restuarants near by especially the Trente Nova and Sweet Revenge. Well worth a visit Tsivili is a lovely resort.

Stayed in 2 bedroomed apartment (self-catering) - was basic, as with most Greek holiday accommodation, but was clean enough.
* Warm and friendly welcome on arrival
* Towels changed x3/wk
* Beds changed x2/wk
* Bins emptied daily
* Friendly pool-bar staff
* Good sized pool
* On-site supermarket and snack bar
* Excellent location for shops, tavernas and beach
* Air con available for 70 euros/wk
* Safe box in apartment to use for 15 euros/wk
Cons:
* Pool very busy and sunbeds 'claimed' by early morning 'towel droppers' (on one occasion there were towels on approx 16 sunbeds but there was only one person on the sunbeds and one person in the pool - the rest were nowhere to be seen!)
* Chlorine in the pool turned our swimwear yellow after only 2 hours swimming (found a much quieter pool at Tom & John's approx 100m along the road, opposite St Dennis)
* There's a reception & bar area which is no longer used, which is a shame as it looks lovely. The bar is now next to the pool and the reception is located in the on-site supermarket
Overall a good holiday in adequate accommodation

- Advice: Location makes it a good base to explore Tsilivi. Use another pool to avoid yellowing and ruining swimwear.

We arrived at the St Denis appartments and were told to wait in reception, Martha the receptionist then took each group to their accommodation starting with people with young children, my only reservation is that they need to get more staff to be hands on on arrival day as we just wanted to get to our accommodation and unpack. When we got to our appartment I must say I was really suprised, it had two seperate bedrooms with two single beds in each, they are large and airy, one bedroom opens out onto a large balcony that has a table and four chairs and a large clothes airer. The kitchen was seperate, we ate out all the time but there is a full cooker, large fridge freezer, kettle, toaster and a full kitchen with all the dishes saucepans a family would need. Towels and sheets were changed frequently and the room was spotless. The room was really cool and I must say I slept great as it was so quiet. This is the best accommodation I have stayed in in Greece and the location is only a short stroll from the beach which has lots of tavernas and plenty of sunbeds at 6 euro for 2 people. The local bars and tavernas are on your doorstep, we ate in a different one every night, we spent most of the time around the pool and used the pool bar for snacks which were quite cheap. There is a shop on site but we used the one opposite just across the road, it had more of a selection. Overall I would strongly recommend these appartments.

After reading the review of the group of 9 people who say its not as nice as it seems, I felt the need to put our experience of the St Denis to have a balanced view. We have just booked our holiday for 2012 and it will be our 4th time at the St Denis. In the last 20 years we have stayed on many Greek Islands, all self catering both with and without children. We have experienced some poor quality accommodation over the years in Greece but the 1st time we stayed at the St Denis we were delighted with the accommodation, the staff, Gianni & Fortis who work behind the bar. Our bedding and towels were always a plenty and clean. The rooms were cleaned every day except Sundays and if we did have a problem, it was resolved on the same day. Believe me, if we didnt like it, we would not have returned again, but we loved it so much and its so good for the Kids we couldnt wait to book each year. So in my view, if youve had a lot of experience of Greek accomodation you will be pleasantly surprised, however, if youre used to staying in luxury then maybe Greece isnt the place for you, but if your looking for comfortable accommodation next to all the facilities Tsilivi has to offer, you cant go wrong with the ST DENIS.

Me and my family stayed at the St Denis apartments in June 2010. This was our first family holiday. There was myself, my husband and my 2 children who were 8yrs and 14mths.
Our room was on the left hand side as you go up past the pool area, seemed to be much cooler on this side, we didn't have to fork out lots of euro's for air con as it wasn't too hot.
The resort itself was very nice, plenty of shops, bars and restaurants for all tastes. Our fave was Benikos, they were so friendly and the food was delicious. Not badly priced either. We tried to eat at different places each night but always found our way back to Benikos again.We went to Zorba's for lunch which was a pretty restaurant but ended up paying an absolute fortune for lunch, they plied us with extras such as bread, and drinks that were never asked for but we had to pay anyway. They did tend to rip you off.
I will advise getting one of the mosquito plug in's for your bedroom as we were all attacked really badly by mozzies, which wasn't pleasant.
The pool area was always clean and tidy, we spent most days there. The food was great aswell, not badly priced at all, and the staff were very friendly.We stayed on a B+B package, the breakfast was basic, generally just toast, tea and fruit juice. If you wanted anything over and above that then you had to pay for it, thats even if you were on a B+B package, so be aware of this. Don't be expecting a full english for free!
The beach is a very short stroll across the road, and was always busy...there isn't much sand area on the beach and is always full of sunbathers so be aware of this...plus there is absolutely no shaded area, so the little ones will get ever so hot.When we stayed in June it was really warm for that time of year, plus i was 12wks pregnant so I felt it more! But it wasn't unbearable, just the afternoons were always alot more humid.
I would definately come back to St Denis as we had a really lovely first family holiday abroad.

Spent two weeks at St.Dennis in September,cannot fault anything.
Martha the owner was wonderful, and the staff were friendly,helpful and kept the rooms spotless. Lost count of how many times we were given clean sheets and towels.
Giannis and Fotis at the pool bar were great company.

Just got back from a 2 week stay at the st denis apartments,stayed 10th-24th august 2010,travelled with my husband and 2 children 9 and 6 stayed in the 2 bedroom apartment which had one double bed and 2 singles,the apartments were so ideal for us and our needs,new towels and linen every 3rd day bins emptied and beds made and floors moped everyday which was fantastic couldnt fault it the maids are such troopers they really work hard.great location with lots of resturants on your doorstep we enjoyed sweet revenge resturant which a family had recomended to us and we loved it too ,beach also just a few minutes walk away.the only downside of this holiday was the pool which made your swimwear yellow due to the chemicals they put into it,but saying that it wasnt to deep so ideal for children the deepest bit wasn't even 6ft so really is ideal.really was friendly meet some great people there which also made our holiday complete.a must is the air con which was 10 euros aday as we had 2 units in our apartment so its 5 euros if you have a smaller apartment aday we tried it with out the air con for the first night leaving the windows open but the noice of the music from the pool bar and the heat made it a bad nights sleep,we paid for it then after and it was fantastic we couldnt hear the music as the windows where shut and it was lovely and cool and we didnt wake up dripping.weather was in the late 30'S everyday with not a cloud in the sky.The grounds where very well kept,they have a supermaket there which is also the reception very well stocked with fresh bread/rolls everyday and wasn't as expensive as you would think.everyone who works for st denis are very friendly and would go that extra mile to make your stay welcoming.Pool bar serves food a must is there breakfast goes down really well.When returning home from zante airport take food and drink with you as its a rip off when you buy from the airport a small bottle of drink costs 3.50 euros compared to 1 euro if buying from a supermaket,they do allow you to bring liquids through if they are not 1.5 litre bottle.Overall the holiday was very relaxing and a great place to take children i have now been to zante twice but only stayed in st denis apartments once and yes i would go back to st denis as its such a lovely place to spend your holidays.
