A wonderfully friendly place very clean and good food.
All the staff were very friendly and helpful at all times.Towels were changed every other day and bed linen. This is the seventh time of visiting the mavrikos the staff always remember us and welcome us with open arms. Would highly reccomend for any body young and old.
Jean and eva provide the service during the day, with Gabby and Martin in the evenings.
The kittens were adorable and kept the children amused day and night.

Just been to Tsilivi on last minute deal. Stayed in studios at Mavrikos Hotel and Apartments. Studios are quite small but are well equipped if you just want to make snacks. It was really a hotel room with a small kitchenette but had microwave, toaster and kettle. Staff very friendly and acted promptly to fix air conditioning which was broken when we arrived. An absolute godsend in the July heat. The complex is well situated close to the main street with numerous restaurants but up a slight incline so out of the noise. The pool area is good but take note - they play music all day so it is not tranquil. Having said that, it is mainly 60, 70 and 80s music and Abba were definitely a favourite this year. Must be because Mama Mia has just been released. They actually showed the film in the bar area but the quality was poor. I think they must have bought it from the DVD man who came around plying his wares! All in all we had a good holiday for the price we paid but the cost of living is extremely high in Tsilivi so you will need plenty of Euros. It cost £20 for 4 of us to play a round of Fantasy Golf in the resort. Definitely a resort for families. Recommend the Water Village with its slides and lazy river ride for a family day out but don't buy the hotdogs or burgers - they are awful.

This is in my top 5 of best hotels i have been to in greece or spain in 30 years of holidays.
Made to feel welcome from the moment we walked in and they just loved the kids.
Rooms - cleaned every day along with fresh towels,all with a pleasant view i think and of a good size with tv and even a double bed. our view was of town/pool.
Hotel - Very clean in all areas.
Pool- Very Clean with a depth from about 2ft gently shelving to about 5ft6" with plenty of sunbeds.
Bar- good range of drinks(generous measures)with music and tv- games room with air hockey,pacman,pingpong etc.
usual quiz, play your cards,race nights etc - old hat but great fun after a few drinks!
Beach,Bars and supermarkets all within 5-10 min walk.
Taxi from airport 20euro 2xSunbeds on the beach 6euro.
Top Tip - buy sunlotion in uk as expensive in resort.
Best Things - The staff, so big thanks to Jackie and Emi on reception and Steve,keith,Jean on the Bar.
If you want a nice relaxing holiday and you have kids this is the place to go.
