Just arrived back from this hotel after a weeks stay, Hotel was very clean, however when we booked Thomas Cook Never mentioned that in July and August this hotel is an 18-30 for Norweigns!! I was hoping for a quite relaxed stay as stated in the brochure. We were kept awake all night every night by groups of 18-30's partying through the night, I'm no party pooper i was young myself but the bad language and sometimes agressive behaviour made us feel intimiated as it was me and my sister staying here. When we complained the hotel werent interested the Thomas Cook Rep was brilliant and did try and move us but we had no extra cash to do this and why should we pay more out!! wont be returning to this hotel for sure.
- Advice: Kos is lovely but not a hotel for couples or singles over 30! very rowdy!

We spent a week at this hotel, thank goodness it was only one week. Although the hotel is clean and confortable and the location is great, the hotel is filled in July/August with 18-30 Scandinavian/Dutch. They party all day by the pool, no-one else can get near and forget getting any sleep between 1.30am and 5.30am. The night porter said he cannot cope with all the complaints as there are 4 floors in the hotel and only himself and a secuirty man to deal with all the drunk/partying young people. The residents around the hotel complain constantly about the noise and speak to any local in Kos and tell them where your are staying and their response is always the same "My God, too noisy". We travelled with Thomas Cook who marketed this hotel as ideal for couples and families, I would like them to take their families there at this time of year and see what they think then. The man in charge of breakfast in the restaurant was exasperated with the young people in the morning as they seemed wo walk around in a permanent dreamlike state. The girl behind the bar was pleasant, but didn't speak much English (I think she was Scandinavian), but the man behind the bar in the evenings was very rude and was not interested in anyone unless they were 18-30. The Reception staff were friendly and tried to be helpful but there wasn't much they could do. If you want a relaxing holiday - STAY AWAY from the Saint Constantin.

My boyfriend & I recently stayed at the St Constantin Apartments & we were pleased with our accommodation overall.
We stayed in a studio apartment which was spacious with a large double bed as well as a single bed. There was a small kitchen area providing a small oven, grill & hob, cold fridge as well as providing plates, cutlery etc. Bathroom had a bath with a very good shower over- always seemed to be plenty of hot water. Maids were in most days changing towels, sheets etc frequently. There was a TV in the room & despite having read on other reviews that all the channels were greek there were some English films and shows on at night.
There are two main pool areas with generally plenty of sunbeds & kept very clean. Bars at both pool areas along with vending machines for cold bottles of water and snacks.
There is a supermarket on site which is fairly reasonable in comparison to the ones available locally- picked up a six pack of large bottles of water for 1.50 euros. We didn't eat at the hotel apart from the odd snack so couldn't really comment, although due to the rising cost of the euro I can only recommend that you bring some basics with you from home like cereals, bacon, butter, cheese etc as these are seriously expensive throughout the whole resort.
The apartments are a good 15-20 min walk in to the main "strip" of Gouves however there are some restaurants very close to the apartments if you don't want to venture far. My main disappointment on the holiday was the resort- I had been lead to believe from the write up in the brochures that Gouves was very traditional- white washed buildings etc this is definitely not what you get. It is still extremely brit orientated with an Anfield Bar, Pig & Whistle and a couple of Irish bars. These were all fine but not what I had banked on. Restaurants overall were ok but if you've been to one you've been to them all as the menus are the same at nearly all of them. The resort was extremely quiet when we were there which made the evenings quite boring as the bars lacked atmosphere- you were lucky if there was half a dozen people in the bar- the whole street was deserted past 10pm!
While we were there we enjoyed a trip to the water park which was good fun and because it was still early in the season there was no queueing- perfect. Quite expensive at 29 euros for the day and we only got 5 hrs there which goes v. quickly. Food is expensive ish but you will have no problems taking your own pack up if you are working to a budget as there was no one stopping you.
Overall I had a good holiday and would definitely recommend the St Constantin apartments especially for those with children as there were lots of other families & kids clubs etc. The staff were helpful and the rooms and whole site kept very clean. Unfortunately we were invaded by russians half way through our holiday who on the whole are very rude and walk around as though they own the place- at least the germans get up early to put their towels down- the russians just put them down on their first day and never take them in for their entire holiday!!!!! I was a bit disappointed the hotel just turned a blind eye to this!

I read the reviews of this hotel before i went and was expecting the worst. On arrival we noticed alot of young groups all hanging around the pool bar. The music was loud in the bar so was hoping we didnt get a rooom directly above. Luckily we had room 337 which was at the back of the hotel. We didnt hear a thing at night other than abit of laughing and shoes up and down the hallways. But all this is to be expected i think. When speaking to another couple in the hotel they had been put directly above the bar, they asked to move and were moved straight away, no problems. On a positive note this hotel is clean, breakfast is great, staff are friendly. Its also in a perfect location, 5 mins walk to harbour and to the beach. Lots of shops nearby and a great ice cream shop! I really enjoyed my holiday and for what we paid i thought it was OK (Im 26 and my partner is 28)
