This is the second time this year I have stayed at the Monaco.
The hotel was clean and your room was cleaned everyday which was good. The food was really nice and there was a good selection to pick from. The pool was great as it wasn’t too cold.
The staff were great couldn’t do enough for you. The bar staff were good fun! And they work hard especially one who works harder than the rest. The entertainment was ok but could be better, overall a good hotel.
Will definitely go back when it re opens.

" I went in August and booked 3 days... "

I went in August and booked 3 days before I went I got it really cheap. It was all inclusive board which I always go on when I go aboard.
I took my 2 kids with me as my husband could not get time off work. The hotel itself was clean, friendly staff and lots for kids to do. The food was lovely and entertainment was good. The only complaint I had was about one of the bar staff he was quite rude to kids and adults. He needed a bit of customer service taught him but he could not speak lot of English. Overall I would go back to the Monaco as I really enjoyed myself and kids loved it as well.
I did hear it was shutting down at the end of October because they are turning into 4 star hotel. I will definitely go back if I can get a good deal.

To look at the hotel from the outside very outdated, but don’t judge a book by its cover. Reception staff were kind and friendly. Good size twin bedroom with a good size bathroom 2 sinks which was great having a family of 4, air conditioning good comfortable beds , room cleaned everyday.
We were on the 4th floor and it was very noisy at night kids running up and down corridors at all hours did not enjoy that. Buffet style food very good plenty of choice 4 everybody even the fussy 1's. Good location, close to the beach. The only fault was the pools the big pool was too deep for my little boys, and the little pool was too small for them. The bar staff were a bit grumpy.
All in all a good hotel cheap and cheerful. I hear its being closed down for a refurb which is much needed but will be opening again next year. Won’t return to this hotel again probably because I’ve stayed in better and are a bit spoiled. Lets hope it gets even better reviews when it reopens you never know!

The Hotel Monaco was an absolutely excellent hotel! I went there with my mum, sister and friend Anne, and I can assure you, we all enjoyed ourselves!
The pool is a bit small but is good for mums and dads etc. for keeping an eye on the little ones, but there is also a pool for them. The hotel staff were friendly, especially José! The food was really good for children as there was a lot of British type food on offer.
The rooms were clean and comfortable and the hotel is about 300m from Levante beach. All in all, it was an absolutely fantastic holiday! Would definitely go there again!

When we first pulled up outside the hotel it looked very basic and "plain" but as I found out, you should never judge a book by its cover, the entertainment was good the choice of food was excellent and the overall staff and facilities were brilliant too.
The position was also good, only about 300m from the beach and same again to shops bars and restaurants.
If you want me to be really judgmental, the only downfall I found were that there was only 2 lifts and ironically we were on the top floor so it took 5 mins to get downstairs - if you do book this hotel just ask for a low floor and everything else will be great.

The Hotel Monaco is in an excellent location. All amenities are close by and it is an easy stroll to Levante beach.
The staff at the hotel were excellent and nothing seemed too much trouble for them. The beds were comfortable, room was very clean and the food was always plentiful and fresh with a good choice.
For anyone travelling here when the weather can be cool, the central heating in the hotel is very efficient. All in all, an excellent holiday. A one-week stay just wasn't long enough!!

the holiday was a great opportunity for me to explore beyond the city of Manchester it was also a great adventure for me as I have never been abroad before the weather was superb although I was burned by the sun but that did not stop me exploring the city and finding new and wonderful things my whole life style had changed for the week I had spent in another country and the week did not supply me with enough time for me to do everything I had planned and wanted to do the resort was very comfortable, clean and very welcoming I felt like I was wanted by the people that ruined the hotel and all I can is say GOD PLEASE PLEASE DROP A LOAD OF MONEY DOWN FROM THE SKY as I wish to live there and start a family and live in a new way of life.

The food and drinks were excellent. There was a wide variety of choice at mealtimes and the food was beautiful. This is one of the nicest hotels for meals that we have ever stayed in anywhere. There was even a seafood selection and plenty of variety with the salads. The rooms were nice and clean and the drinks were not watered down rubbish.

The bar staff were very fun and polite they also could do tricks with the glasses (they could probably put on their on show).
The food was tasty they made their own food up when your there I recommend they Monaco cheese salad(it was beautiful).
What I didn't like about it was at night there was lots of Spanish locals skating in the middle of then night. They had 2 snooker tables to keep the kids and some of the adults occupied.
The hotel only had one pool and one part shallow and the other deep.
If I could give it my own personal rating it would be 5*. You had a band so that you could get free drinks but the games room wasn`t very big I would say about 4m.
