The hotel is old. Apart from MOMO the daily entertainment worker the place is full of germs as a large amount of people found out. We were ill. The food is all fat, so take your SIMVASTAINS.I will say no more. Find out for your-self if you dare. However, the weather was good for the time of year.

Just returned from a 10 night stay. Our kids (aged 10-13) loved it - we hardly ever saw them. The Hotel could benefit from a make over but it was spotlessly clean and comfortable. We stayed in a junior suite which was fine for the 5 of us with a good size bathroom. The... more

Great deal, great break, would go again
It was perfect for what we wanted, cheap, cheerful, and good standard. The food was amazing so much meat that never run out. Different food for everyone's taste. The area is quiet which is lovely and you can always go on a bus or cab to the busy resorts. The staff were exceptionally nice and I would definately book again. The only people that wouldn't enjoy this hotel are people that want everything for nothing, it was the best value all inclusive holiday I have ever been on.
Good & Bad
The Hotel in general is lovely its very clean, we had a lovely time, although i was very disapointed with the food, there is always something you can force yourself to have but its always the same thing, the kids menu consists of pizza, sausage, burger and chips pretty much all the time. The surrounding place is lovely, not really alot around but there is enough. The entertainment was quite good, something for everyone. Overall we enjoyed our stay but because of the food i would not go back.
Where do I start?
Just returned and was rather disappointed as my husband smokes and as from 1st January 06 all hotels in Spain are non-smoking and this hotel didnt even supply a smoking area in the hotel only outside which if it rains or very windy not very pleasant! I think holiday company should have prewarned us. Hotel needs updating as its a bit shabby in places, especially when we had a night of torential downpour and it took days to stop the water pouring from the gutters! Also we found staff were not very friendly and food was varied but never hot. Rooms were cleaned every day. Entertainment in the evening was a bit disappointing, but bingo in five languages very funny!! Nothing to do outside hotel but this we knew before booking but majority of local traders were not open all that often. Still a lot of building work around the hotel which starts at 7.30am! We didnt pay a lot for this holiday which was just as well but definitely wouldnt book again.
Nice View..
We went with our 2 children expecting a 3 star hotel, which is exactly what we got. The food was varied and well presented, but sadly nothing special. The hotel itself was very clean and the rooms were cleaned daily, clean towels etc. There was always someone cleaning or tidying up. The staff were very friendly and helpful and we couldnt fault that. There was some building work going on accross at the new 5* hotel, but thats almost done now. Sadly there seems to be building work all over Tenerife at the moment. The pool was pleasant but cold ( yes I know its January!!), although the children still went in. The Lido, down the road was nice with your all inclusive band getting you drinks there. There wasnt much to do outside the hotel unless you travelled into Las Americas etc, which we did as we did get a little bored. The entertainment at night was ok, although the entertainment for the children could be changed and varied.. it looked like the "compares" were bored and robot like having to do the same thing every night. By the end of the week we knew how they felt. All this said, we got exactly what we paid for, and would recommend for people wanting a cheap all inclusive.
Christmas at the Floral
Went here on the 30th of December for New Year with my boyfriend we are both 25. The hotel is lovely and clean and the rooms are quite good but nothing else good to say about it. Food disgusting only ate there once the drink wasnt much better got taxi in to Troviscos everyday and night spent £850 in a week all inclisive. Go to Troviscos there is plenty to do there. Playa Parasio is for easily pleased people.
Fantastic Value for Money Hotel
Okay, when you book a 3 star hotel, you expect a 3 star average hotel and service. Well I can tell you that this is no average hotel, this is way above average, the hotel is spotless, you could eat your food off the floor. The rooms are spacious with excellent views. The towels are changed daily and the beds are made daily. The staff are friendly and helpful, the hotel runs daily entertainment and nightly entertainment, which is enough when you want a relaxing holiday. The food - well what can I say, every night they had a speciality meat that chef carved straight off the bone in front of you. There was also the option of another two meat dishes aswell as a veggie option. If you didn't like that, then you could have a choice of two soups and if you didn't like that, then tough, go out and buy something The all inclusive meant 'all inclusive', beer from 10am in the morning, till midnight, snacks available all day. As much tea and coffee as you could drink. Why oh why do these people book into a 3 star hotel and expect the 5 star treatment. I guess it's because they've never stayed in a 5 star hotel and therefore don't know the difference or because they complain about anything and everything, despite the quality and service. Take it from me, this hotel is excellent value for money and we are already booking to go back this year (2006)
All In means queues for everything!
I went to this hotel for Christmas and New Year. It is a 17-Store building which must have been full to bursting and perhaps this was why we had to queue for everything, diner tables, coffee and drinks. The entertainment is not up to much, each night the kids get exactly the same programme and perhaps this is why most of them felt that running round each floor ringing on door bells a better alternative. The kids programme is followed by bingo and then you are entertained by the excruciating "singing" of the Karoke. It is fair to say there was a couple of nights maybe worth staying in for - but that was only if you actually managed to get seated to see the entertainment - we never did! Playa Praiso is a miserable place to be - a handful of shops which charge at least 4 times the prices of those in Playa Las Americas and no beach. The only saving grace was the live entertainment at the Scorpio Bar - from 10pm to 11pm each night. One good thing is that the hotel is that it was very clean. All in all I would not go to this place ever again.
building work still going on
building work is still going on opposite the hotel which seems to start at 7-30am each morning. our holiday company thompson failed to mention this at all! hotel needs redecoration ,particularly in lobby area which greets you on arrival. staff are really nice, drinks great and food reasonable. if you like english fried breakfast you wont be dissapointed. i would recommend the lido, is only 5 min walk from hotel. lovely and quiet, big pool and you can get free drinks as you are on all inclusive. overall good value, just building work spoils it but i understand this should be finished soon. our stay was 08/11/05 to 18/11/05
playa paraiso
we have just spent 2 weeks at paraiso floral and could not fault the accommotion the rooms were cleaned daily and towels changed daily. The food was good plenty of choice at lunch and eveing meals. If you went out for the day the packed lunches were good. There is some building work going on near to the swimming pool but there was some noise only minimun it did not bother us at all.The resort was very basic very few shops and no beach. We went on some trips to loro praque, mount tiede and a boat trip called peter pan we enjoyed all of them especially the cable car up to the top of mount tiede that was really good.we would like to go back in a couple of years to see it after the building work around the hotel is finished
Disappointing and over priced accommodation
The Hotel was 20 years old and in need of a overhaul (despite what they may tell you). The reception area appeared to be generally clean, but the furniture was dirty and covered in cigarette burns (even in the non-smoking area). With paper thin walls and tiled floors, late night sounds echoed along the landings and through the rooms. We could hear late night revellers making their way back to the rooms and then being ill in the bathrooms (Nice..) In the Main Bar there is only a small area allocated for the NON-smokers. Outside and around the main pool area there was constant noise from the new hotel being built which over looks the pool/bathing area. We could hear the sounds of a concrete braker being used from 7.30am which continued most of the day and lorries were continually running along side the road seperating the two hotels. Good points: The food was quite good, always a good variety and plenty of it. The staff were friendly and helpful. We recommend the Medieval Night. Excellent entertainment.
