A very nice hotel with a large swimming pool. Unfortunately people tend to put their towels on sun beds before breakfast, and often do not return all day, taking up beds which they have no intention of using.
The pool attendants are very helpful however, and will try their best to find you a nice spot around the pool.
Stayed on half board basis and the food was excellent. Although buffet style, only small portions were put out at a time, so it was always piping hot.
Stayed in the "main block" and the rooms there could do with new furniture and a general overhaul, but they were adequate and clean.
I did get to see in one of the bungalows and these rooms are far superior and I would certainly opt for bungalow when I go back....and I certainly hope to go back.
We were only there for a week but managed two trips, the creek fishing and the dawn with the birds. I can highly recommend both of these (we booked through Cosmos but there is no shortage of "tour guides" outside the hotel who offer all sorts of trips!)
Only real criticism was the flight, I was certainly glad it was only 6 hours! Although a Cosmos holiday, the flight was with Thomas Cook and they certainly pack them in! There was no room at all, and trying to eat the in-flight meal was a real joke!
