After booking at the Seden, I then read the reviews and was a little concerned about the cleanliness, theft and noise. however, if all the negative reviews were true, then Seden has really taken notice and made ammends. I found the hotel to be spotless with the maids cleaning all day every day. Linen and towels were changed daily. All staff, especially reception, could not help enough. theft?. I got a safety deposit box (i always do) so no problems there. Music around the pool was varied and never intusivly loud, never loud at at night. Bar staff were very pleasing and helpful, always 'on site'. never got ripped off once, as was previously reviewed. Turkish breakfast was as is, but english breakfast (10tl) was excellent. All reception, bar and waiting on staff spoke english to different degree's, but all willing to learn from guests. I thought the hotel was top and would certainly have no qualms about going again or recommending it to others. Well done Seden and thankyou for your contribution to a wonderful holiday.

Pristine clean Hotel
10 / 10
Jun 2010, Deldan

Stayed at seden for a week in june 2010, and i must say that the standard has really gone up since we last stayed there 2 years ago.
Hotel was brilliantly clean, the bar food was very good too, as the chef is only 18 yrs old.
These guys will do anything for you.
Would recomend this hotel to anyone.

Please be very aware that this hotel is far from the happy paradise it proclaims to be. We went there in July 2009 and a theft of £500 was stolen from our room. When we voiced our concerns to our rep at Yesil Dalyan they took the side of the hotl and became very agressive indeed. We reported the theft to the police but unless we could actually accuse someone we were not going to be able to press charges. There are only, allegedly, 4 master keys to any room, the front reception and 3 maids. You work it out. Interestingly, the boss's wife who runs the hotel brought the maid who was supposed to clean our room down to the police station??? It doesn't take Sherlock Holmes to work out why. We spoke to other guests at the hotel who said they had smaller amounts of money stolen from their room. My wife was then phoned to our room and threatened that the boss was at the hotel and he was a lawyer and we were not to talk to any other guests. We had to eventually phone our rep in Glasgow to get us moved as the threats continued. Please do not allow them to destroy your holiday like they did ours.

One of the best holidays me and my family have ever been on!
The hotel is lovely, not alway enough sunbeds around the pool but the beach is a quick bus journey down the hill on a dulmus (turkish bus) and only costs 2.5 turkish lira - approximately £1.10.
The rooms are cleaned and towels changed daily which is lovely. The staff are friendly and like to get to know you a little bit, but not intrusive.
The breakfast is a bit repetitive - olives, bread, jam, cucumber, tomato, feta, coffee, tea, but it is pleasant enough. I advise a bed and breakfast basis as there are many bars and restaurants just up the road. The dinner in the hotel is very filling, soup, meze, main course and pudding, so don't snack before hand!!
Like i said before, the main town is just a 5 minute walk along a road, it is lively and great fun.
There are a few clubs for the teenagers, pubs, bars, cafes and restaurants. Also, there are shops that sell everthing! you can purchase clothes that they alter for free.
The hotel is in a great spot as it is close enough to walk to the town, but far enough so that you don't hear the music throughout the night.
There is lots to do, we went to the turkish baths (HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!), trip to dalyan, 12 islands tour, scuba diving (you don't have to be PADI certified to do this) and paragliding.
All in all, an amazing place that we will hopefully be visiting again in August this year!

Our first holiday in Turkey, Seden Hotel was our accommodation. Lovely hotel. Very clean and tidy. Hotel room given a thorough daily clean, with , fresh sheets and towels. Very friendly and helpful staff. Lovely pool and plenty of sunbeds available.Only downside for myself and partner, was there were no tea/coffee making facilities in room and a fridge would have been nice. Awful music played by the poolside, quite annoying. Overall very satisfied with the Seden Hotel.

Stayed at the Seden for two weeks with our 15 year old son. Hotel was absolutely lovely, the staff were so friendly and nothing was too much for them. Hotel was spotless, staff always cleaning the areas. Beautiful gardens which were well tended to. They have an amazing chef called Mutti, his cooking was fab. He catered well for fussy English people like me. presentation was excellent. The manager Birro was an ex table tennis champ, he enjoys a challenge on the table! The waiters were so polite and friendly. An ideal retreat with Babadag mountain as a backdrop, situated just outside the main town centre, perfect location. I was a first timer to Turkey and we are all going back to the Hotel Seden next year!

My family and I have just recently...

My family and I have just recently returned from the Hotel Seden and were extremely impressed with the service we received. From the moment we arrived to the day we departed. The rooms were kept clean and to a high standard. The staff answered our every need. The food was excellent and the chef did everything we asked him to do. The views from around the hotel were stunning. The manager was very helpful in everything we needed to know and do.
This was our first visit to Turkey and we would have no doubts that we will be returning soon. The walk into Hisaronu took about 10 minutes. When we arrived in the village I was greatly impressed with the locals and had great fun with the banter between us. Monday is market day and it is a must just to hear the traders shouting out there catchphrases.
The restaurants and bars we visited were very clean and kept to a high standard. We had 2 excursions which we booked through Explorer which can be found on the main street. They were excellent and good value for money. We used the local taxis to take us down to Olu Deniz which only cost around £5 for five of us.
I have recommended the Hotel Seden to all my friends; although it is a three star hotel they gave us five star services.

I have just returned from a week at...

I have just returned from a week at the Seden Hotel with two friends. I have been visiting Turkey since 1989 and found the Seden to be one of the most unpleasant hotels I have ever stayed in. I did not find the staff very helpful and often look forward during my stays to a plain simple Turkish breakfast. During this stay, however, the breakfast was extremely poor and for three days in a row there were no boiled eggs. It was evident that not enough food was being prepared for the number of guests staying in the hotel and despite being accepting of this oversight on the first occasion by the third day I was extremely angry. In addition guests had to continuously ask for the bread basket to be refilled and the fresh water melon that was offered on our first day at breakfast was never available again. I know this may seem like a petty thing but for me it is simple things like efficient friendly staff that contributes to a more relaxed and pleasant holiday.
On a positive note the hotel was exceptionally clean but again on one occasion we had to ask hotel staff for clean towels as it had been almost three days since they were changed. I am not sure if it was due to the fact that it was approaching the end of the season but staff looked tired and as if they did not really care whether guests were receiving the most from their stay. Again this is in stark contrast to any of my previous visits and stays in hotels in Turkey. Consequently, I would not recommend the Seden Hotel to any friends or family.

When we arrived at the hotel we found...
7 / 10
Jun 2007, Mrs K J Mee

When we arrived at the hotel we found out we were the only ones staying there.
The reason for this was our hotel was switched at the last minute for various issues and this hotel kindly opened up a week early to accommodate us.
The hotel was off the main road leading from Olu Deniz into Hisaronu. The road leading off was like a dirt track and looked a bit daunting but when we saw the hotel it looked quite pretty.
The rooms were basic but very clean. On one occasion our beds were even sprinkled with flowers and petals! the pool area was nice and the gardens were also nice. It is a small hotel but it is well maintained.
They are forever cleaning because of the dust from the road outside. At the time we were there they were laying a new road.
The staff are very nice. The Manager - can’t pronounce his name or spell it was great and the bar man Oz was great fun.
We may return there in August with our children and on this basis we were kindly shown around the family rooms. There were again, really clean and nice. Definitely comfortable enough for a family.
I would say though that I did see other hotels that I felt were better for families with children because they had slides in the pool etc whereas this hotel didn’t. The breakfast was boiled egg and feta cheese with salad. Quite nice and light but I think we didn’t get a bigger breakfast because the main chef was not due to start work until the following week.
All I can say is the people here are really lovely and when I go back to Turkey, even if we chose to stay elsewhere, I would definitely pass by to say hello.
