A lovely place. I must add that the children were looked after and entertained all morning. They lunched together and are looked after while parents eat, lunch and dinner.
We were free to lounge around the pool or join in with the many distractions offered. I joined in with water aerobics and the art class. The evenings were beautiful and a different entertainment each evening. A murder game, a word puzzle and Scottish dancing are just three I enjoyed.
I loved everything except one thing, I am disabled and used sticks and a wheelchair.
The layout was not very suitable for the wheelchair and I had a terrible time entering and leaving the pool. I had to go in, I couldn't resist.
When I was taken round the village in the chair we had to use the roads mostly because the kerbs were very high. We were hooted at a lot, after I stopped being angry I smiled and waved, and found them to be quite friendly.
I was stared at as I trundled along in the chair and I was told that their disabled are kept at home!
The staff and guests were incredibly friendly and I feel I have made some great friends.
I would go back there.

We booked this holiday by way of a "consolation" option after cancelling a cruise. In many respects however, we gained a far richer experience that a trip to the Arctic would have provided. Four of us - myself, my wife and two grown up children (18 and 20) had a marvellous fortnight in a two star hotel with a five star delivery.
The hotel is situated almost in the centre of Gundogan Bay and all rooms on the first floor have balconies which give excellent views of the whole bay, whilst even ground floor rooms (around the pool) have at least partial sea views.
The hotel stands back from the beach separated by a field and a promenade. The beach itself is rather shingly, very dusty, but amply provided by the traditional woven sunshades and wooden sun-loungers (not necessarily very comfortable but they do serve to keep one's beach towel from becoming discoloured). This beach is a public one and becomes busy after lunch, but it is spacious. Sand proper is a water's-edge strip and gives way to large stones that provide a 5m "belt" before sand reappears. Bathing is excellent, the sea clear and pleasant with fish swimming freely among bathers. The salinity of the water is such that buoyancy is no problem and the highest "waves" I encountered were cast up by a speed-boat that came a little too close to the well defined bathing area.
The rooms were spacious, simple but comfortably furnished and were en suite with showers. They also came with air conditioning, which was a real blessing with the high temperatures experienced here this year.
The hotel staff were pleasant, helpful and always cheerful - the bar staff (who acted as gofers at meal-times and as unofficial carers to many of the younger guests) were a real treasure.
The MasterSun reps - a young crew of mostly gap-year students - were always helpful and organised tours, activities for younger children and teens as well as providing water-front activities.
Although MasterSun are a Christian tour operator and provides for predominantly UK holiday-makers, the hotel accommodates a wide clientèle, including Turkish guests, so there is quite a cosmopolitan flavour.
Meals are all buffet style and the chef provides a varied bill of fare daily. Apart from organising tours (from exploring Bodrum to Ephesus - all accompanied by a guide and invariably in air-conditioned transport - they arrange for guests to explore the town and market of Gundogan itself.
The hotel is ideal for families with children of any age. Couples and singles as well blend into an extended family atmosphere which is never forced and guests can dip into the relaxed environment as deeply and as often as they wish.
From the collection at Bodrum International Airport (the transfer is by air-conditioned coach) to the family feel farewell, the overall impression is one of old-fashioned care and a sincere desire to please the holiday-maker.

This hotel is two stars, but it must be at the top end of two stars, because the rooms were fine (AC).
The staff very friendly. The food top notch (the kitchens were very clean, they even have distilled water in the kitchen to wash the vegetables, cook with etc)
The location is marvellous and we enjoyed ourselves tremendously!
All in all well worth checking out.

Fantastic for windsurfing and sailing. With LivingSun equipment hire is included at Gravity Watersports just up the beach. Stronger winds in the afternoon mean plenty of challenge but still a safe place for beginners.
Nice friendly hotel 50m back from beach through a field of maize! Plenty of spave around the pool. Great fun in the evenings with plenty of card games and even a scottish dancing evening! LivingSun staff were first rate.
Kids club was superb. Well they worked hard to tire our kids out and with some really creative activities. There was aslo Christian teaching for an hour before supper for those who wanted it - I found it quite refeshing.
The hotel was great. Staff were very friendly. Billy makes great cocktails! Food is quite turkish but interesting. Perhaps they could have had more variety in teh second week?
All in it was a fantastic holiday for our family. We'd love to go again.
