Villa La Luna was very disappointing on arrival. First impressions were that it was in need of a good clean and general maintenance.
Around the outside, tiles were missing from the bottom of the pool, bushes around the pool would have leant over the pool had they not been held back with washing line. There was a huge Palm tree by the pool steps which hindered getting in and out of the pool and in my opinion needed a good clipping.
The patio and around the villa and driveway were flagged but elsewhere, i.e.: again around the pool - was mainly sparse dead grass and clay like soil and gravel. Some of the patio chairs were cracked and the plastic sunbeds had to be cleaned before we could use them.
On the inside, the downstairs shower could not be used due to it flooding the floor, as it was a shower tray complete with 3/4 length curtain.
Food stained dishes in cupboards, dirty microwave, these we cleaned ourselves on arrival. Greasy hand marks all over the interior patio doors, the previous occupants talc on the upstairs bathroom walls, corners of rooms dusty and cobwebbed.
On a positive note though, the upstairs air conditioning was excellent and the villa is situated in a quiet residential area and yet is only a 5 - 10 minute walk from the main resort with its many bars and restaurants.
Recommended bar is "Tropical Kiss" for comfy chairs, music and cocktails.
Recommended restaurants are Los Delfinas and Es Pitus. We also found a beautiful restaurant at the top of a hill on the way to the Calas coves near Cala'n Porter called Nelson's. This is run by an English couple and the food is excellent.
Would definitely come back to this resort again, but sadly not to this villa!
