It was indeed once a country estate, and the conversion to a hotel has been a spectacular success. The 'Premier Chalets' are reserved especially for Virgin guests by your hosts Clive and Liesel. The resort's heart is the Manor House, home of the celebrated Knysna Hollow restaurant and pub.

Generally a nice place to stay for a few nights but unfortunately when we stayed we had rain for the whole time which spoiled our plans. The cleaning of our chalet was generally good however there was a blatantly obvious tea stain on the floor which... read more

Stayed here for two weeks which was a huge mistake as its one of those places that gets full of German tourists just staying one or two nights.
