Hotel Description:
Sun Kissed by name. Sun kissed by nature. The recently refurbished Sun Kissed is right in the middle of Goa's most popular spot, just minutes from the beach and shops. But that's not all. For starters, there's the swimming pool. Change into your costume and get swimming. If you're a lounger rather than a swimmer, don't worry, there's a terrace for you to stretch out on. loading...

Sun Kissed Hotel Reviews
" Untrustworthy Staff "
Submitted By: holiday=_addict
Overall we really enjoyed our stay in the Sunkissed resort, but our holiday was tainted by the time we left.
We were itially placed in room 811 however this was quite disappointing, so we asked to be moved. Staff was very helpful and was told we could move rooms that day - we were put into 721 over the looking the pool, which was a vast improvement. The room was much brighter, larger, beds more comfortable (slated base, not boards) and had a modern bathroom.
The pool area and hotel grounds were well maintained and situated a stones throw from the hustle and bustle of Calangute.
During our stay we came across a few abnormalities. In the evening we would go out for meal and double lock our room door, but when we returned it wouldn't be double locked. We then had a look around our room and everything appeared to be as it was (nothing moved or topped up, towels etc). This happened a few times, so we informed the hotel management, who seemed to think it was an impossible for someone to be going in. Once we had brought this up it didn't happen again.
On our last night when it came to packing up it came apparent that someone had been coming in to have a look around and taking things as a brand new bottle of Dior perfume and makeup had been stolen. We also opted to hire a safety deposit box for 50 rupees a night, but when we took out our belongings a credit card was missing! We had it out with the hotel management who was extremely uninterested and was adamant that it was impossible that his staff had been going in our room or safety box. Not even an apology was given, we were furious! If we had noticed earlier we would have called the police, but as it was our last night hours before we was being picked up to go home we just wanted to get out and get home. When we was leaving we got speaking to another couple we found that the same thing had been happening to them. When they would come back from a night out they would return with draws left open and lights left on.
We would never go back to this hotel due to the untrusting staff and the blasé attitude of the management, which is a shame as it is one of the nicer hotels we have stayed in GOA.

Advice: Calungute is a the tourist hub of Goa with plenty of shops and restaurants. I good base to explore.
Activities:
Good for: Beach

we were moved to the sunkissed and from the moment we arrived loved it, the staff were friendly and helpfull and did everything they could to help us.
while we were there they were still building parts of the hotel but none of it was intrusive and eveywhee was still clean and in no way spoilt our holiday.
the hotel food was to die for and the pool was always clean and pleasant.
the hotel is placed in the center of calangute and is a ten min walk from the beach and along the way you will pass local shops and such like.
i loved my stay at the sunkissed hotel and cant wait to return.
