Mouldy bedroom walls+shower, noisy rooms over allnight disco, room rates higher than quoted

We stayed in the Pavillion in 2005 and loved it so much we went back again in 2006.The pool area is quite stunning with 3 pools and waterfalls.It is a must to get one of the seaview rooms.The rooms are of a good size and the large bathrooms are tastefully decorated in black marble.The large swing on the balcony is excellent and ideal for watching the amazing sunsets. We have stayed at this hotel in july 2006 when we take a tour of thailand . we stayed 4 days and it was really wonderful.Firstly when we check in at the hotel we think that it was a little bit far away from the beach , but trust me it's better because in that way you can see more and learn more about the Krabi and the surroundings. You can take tuk-tuks from the beach and pay about 40-50 baht( about 1 euro).So the distance is not a problem.If i will come again i will stay again at this hotel and i recomend this hotel to every one, You... more

We stayed at Pavilion Queens Bay Hotel for 3 nights. The rooms are large and spacious, I like the balcony very much. A little bit far from beach. But Don't worry, just take tuk tuk ( thai taxi) outside hotel to Ao nang beach shopping area for only 20Baht each person, child is free! This is the best hotel I ever stayed and I highly recommend to all.

We stayed at Pavilion Queens Bay in the period November 14-21 - and had a great stay. We liked the location away from the Ao Nang hustle and bustle (approx. 700 m to beach and beach boulevard) Nicely furnished and spacious rooms, all with large balcony and table/chairs + hanging couch - nice! Very clean and comfy. Nice fitnessroom and beautiful and quiet pool area. Breakfast buffet huge and excellent. All staff very polite and attentive. A few months ago I had the pleasure of staying at the Pavilion Queen's Bay Hotel in Krabi, Thailand. The hotel was recommended to me by a friend with unusually high standards, so my expectations were high going in, but I have to say that they were exceeded. Do not listen to any of the negative reviews on here.... at all. Any negative encounters are from people's first hand experiences with people or a one off situation. The hotel is superb and you can defiantly expect a good, high quality 4*. The lobby is huge and gorgeous with a gold winding staircase in the centre. Me and my boyfriend were only planning to stay for 2 days in the Pavillion but ended up extending it as it was such a lovely hotel, it may not be 5 star but it really has the wow factor as soon as you arrive at the door. The staff were really lovely and helpful and as we arrived we were greeted by the manager and given cold towels and tea. Pavilion Queen's Bay is a lovely hotel, with an open-air lobby, lots of marble, grand staircase and a very gracious staff! The rooms are large and the bathroom had plenty of closet space. I particularly liked the huge "walk-in" shower and large soaking tub. Our room had a porch with a swing and plenty of space to sit and gaze out at the view. You can also enjoy a panoramic view from the deck during breakfast. After having spent some time on the islands, returning to the mainland and arriving at Pavilion Queen's Bay was a real treat! I couldn't possibly fault any aspect of my stay - our room was large and very nicely decorated, i found teh bathroom particularly luxurious with a huge bath and walk-in shower. Room service and laundry we're of a very high standard and equally as efficient. The staff were all very friendly and helpful and definitely enhanced my own enjoyment of my time there.
