Having just returned from The Solymar Solaya in Marsa Alam, I thought I should write a review. Before I left I could find very little on the hotel, except that the area was visited by many Italians! I went for a relaxing 7 day break from the 8-15th February. The resort was quiet, it was early in the season, the pool and beach were virtually empty for most of the week.(Even though it will probably be alot busier i high season.) The pool and sea were warm and the temperature was around 28-30 degrees everyday. All of the staff in the hotel speak English, the food in the restaurants was amazing and the whole place was soooo clean and spotless. The service was excellent and it is the kind of resort where you can do as much or as little as possible. We didn't dive but the snorkelling was amazing, and other tourists were highly recommending the diving!
All in all an amazing trip! I would definitely go back!!!!
