Probably the best quality accomodation we have ever stayed at.
Me, my wife and 8 year old daughter stayed in a 2 bedroom Majestic Villa for 9 nights over New Year and it was a real treat. The Villas are amazing, it felt as we were in an interior designer's house and the standard of workmanship throughout is first class with the best quality of materials used everywhere. They are located about 2/3 minutes drive from the lovely village of La Caleta (20 minutes walk) passing the Adeje golf course on the way down. La Caleta has 3/4 good restaurants but you can have room service in the Villa or eat at... more
Stylish Retreat but...
This hotel is simply stunning and there is no doubt that the majority of you will love it. Royal Garden Villas and the spa are designed to perfection. If like me you are looking for comfort you will get it...the beds are very comfy, the rooms have not one, but three curtains to ensure a dark room and at night it's nice and quiet. So a good night´s sleep is guaranteed. Not so quiet, as you have heard from other reviews, during the day. This should not however put you ALL off this beautiful boutique hotel. I have to say it... more
Gorgeous Villas But Road Noise Runis It
We stayed in one bedroom villa - Villa Marta from 24th to 28th Dec. I agree with all the other comments about the decor and beauty of the villas. They are well fitted out and the quality of fixtures is first class. The plus points about this resort is that the attention to detail is excellent, the maid service is very good and the staff in general are all polite and courteous. The DOWN side to this resort though is the road noise. As per the previous reviewer, we were in a one bed villa in the lower level and the road noise was constant.... more
lovely concept
We recently stayed at the villas for 5 nights and were allocated villa Carmen, which is a one bedroom on the lower level of the complex. On first impressions of the location, it doesn't really look much from the outside, sandwiched between the Golf course and practice range with a main road running both sides, very understated. But once through the big wooden doorway, it is very tranquil. The reception is very pretty, having to walk over a wooden bridge that spans the lovely warm infinity pool which has views, over the golf course, sea and... more
Our secret garden
My girlfriend & I spent a week in Royal Garden Villa & we have to say it was the most perfect & romantic place, Hidden Behind a wall with a small wooden door once you enter its like a secret garden. The staff are only to be seen when you need them & are so friendly, We stayed in Villa Star & each Villa has its own style, Karen being a 5 Star plus girl could not fault it, The furnishings & layout were second to none, With your own pool & views over the golf course & the coast line of Las Americas it was the the most Romantic week ever. I... more
Excellent
On arrival we found the accomodation to be somewhat different to what we expected. The website does not do it justice by any means. For those of us with young children it was refreshing to see that the villas were surrounded on 3 sides with a high wall with CCTV and entry was requested via an intercom with reception. The other side which is where the villa terraces were is protected by a long drop to the roadway below. (and surrounded by the golf course) On arrival we were shown to a two bedroom villa although we had booked a one... more
Fabulously relaxing
We were after a 5 star hotel in Tenerife and after browsing the web we found this little gem on the Thomson website. Having done a bit of research I realised the price on their website must have been a bit of a mistake as it was showing at £600 pp including free car hire and over the bank hols. The brochure said £1200 pp for a week so we booked it asap!Needless to say the next day the price had shot up to double what we paid!! Anyway, after a short drive from TFS we found ourselves in Costa Adeje and the exclusive looking Royal Garden... more
Fantastic
Have just spent a week in a one bedroom villa here and can't praise the accomodation highly enough. The standard of the decor and furnishings is extremely high and it was lovely just to stroll out of your villa to your own private plunge pool. Only had breakfast once as the beds were so comfy we never woke up early enough (plus we had some late nights!). The rooms were cleaned every day with fresh towels. There is a two large Supermarkets nearby to stock up however a car is essential. In the evening we used taxis to takie us to... more
Very luxurious - apart from the building noise.
There can be no doubt that the 'Royal Garden Villas', in Costa Adeje, Tenerife offers a true 'five star' holiday experience (at a five star price of course!). The Royal Garden Villas complex, built within the grounds of the Costa Adeje Golf Course, has had no expense spared in terms of creating a high class environment from which to base your holiday. We recently stayed in one of the three bedroom Villas (Villa Bali) there which had the following features: - One large double bedroom with LCD TV, a large en-suite bathroom with... more
Very Understated...
We stayed at these new villas for a week in April. Having only opened in December 2006 they haven't really got going yet and whilst we were there there were only three/four villas out of the 28 being used. The villas themselves are very luxurious and each one is different. We had villa Lola which is the african themed villas shown on the publicity photos - all zebra stripes etc. Very well designed, with their own fully fitted kitchen. Beautiful bathroom with bath and walk in shower and separate toilet. All fitted to a very high... more
