Reading many other reviews, i wasn't sure what to expect of the hotel. We arrived at 7 in the morning! after a long flight. When we got to our rooms, we were a bit disapointed by the size - but hey, it's a hotel, not an apartment. We also couldn't turn the electric on as no... more

Disappointing holiday - Andy & Miranda, Sept 2008
Overiding feeling after just returning was typical greek hotel that could do with a de bugging as there were flies everywhere, particularly at breakfast. A fly killing machine would have been a great asset to the hotel. €4 for half hour internet seems a little harsh. The staff were attentive and the hotel pleasant enough. The meals were good and not bad value for money. This wasn't necessarily the case in other eating and drinking establishments in the resort. Many seemed overpriced and the drinks measures questionable !!!!! In some restaurants a simple sirloin and chips were €16.00 and €4.50 for a single v & t. We are told that this is due to the high level of taxes that are being imposed on businesses, and if this is the case then the greek government need to asses what damage this is doing to their tourist trade. How this will affect a family holiday remains to be seen. We will be hard pushed to consider greece for another holiday in the near future.
