Normally we don't do 'hotels' preferring the whole villa do it yourself thing, but always fancied Fuerte, and so off we went.... Yes the hotel has a whole load of German guests, not a bad thing they can control the kids and won't grumble to nobody about food or cleanliness, if it needs attention they moan til its done! A quiet hotel good for couples and small family groups and not far from the fun if thats what you want!! So as I said at the beginninf we don't do the whole 'hotel' thing and thats why we are going back in July!

we went to fuerteventura's monica beach hotel for our first family holiday abroad last july and we cannot wait to get back there this july! Our party was my wife and I and our two youngsters,Katie and Christopher. The complex was spotless at all times,the food was perfect and varied in menu, the staff,particularly the bar staff, were brilliant fun! To be honest,there is not a lot in the way of entertainment, unless you enjoy crazy golf,tennis or swimming! There is also a gym for keep fit fanatics and a few pool tables if you get lucky enough to get on one! This is mainly a chill type of place and not a suitable place for anyone looking for a more adventurous holiday. The apartments are looked after,they are cleaned on a daily basis and bedding is replaced along with towels each day. The beach is just a few seconds away,a few minutes at the most,depending on where your apartment is situated on the complex. The beach is perfect with plenty of loungers,there is no need to battle over a place on the beach,but you have the usual problems around the two complex swimming pools...towels set out on loungers. This place caters mainly for Germans and Spaniards,you will not come across too many brits,we only met five british families in our entire two week stay!

weather very windy and cloudy mostly germans on holiday ,had presants stolen from our room by the cleaners management not interested.complained to airtours rep she just shrugged her shoulders and said she couldnt do anything about it would not recomend hotel monica or airtours again.

ive just came back from a 1 week holiday at the monica beach hotel. the hotel itself was everthing and more. The Whole place was clean , the pool was spottless and the food, although different from the food we eat was always to your liking. The hotel is the best ive ever stayed in but if only it was in a place like Gran Canaria. The shopping Facilities around the complex wernt the best there was only 1 club within walkin distance. Also i went in the middle of the freak weather so is was cold and it rained. But the hotel entertainment was okay on some nights, as the place was had a ratio of 30 Germas to 1 English some nights we played german bingo others we had quizzes which we couldnt understand, but others such as the Brazilian Dancers and the Magician were rather entertaining. However as the place was full of germans alot of the food was for the germans such as sausage in prunes and things like that. but i dont think the whole german thing was just a one off as work is well underway to build a airport just for the Germans. But anyway I couldnt fault the hotel and maybe for a couple WITHOUT kids this would be the perfect place for a relaxing getaway , and if it still isnt warm you could always use the sornar or even the heated Jacuzzi .

Excellent hotel, I would deffinetly consider going to monica beach hotel again. I went over the christmas period, and as it was winter, the weather was great. There are avtivities for all ages, the hotel is also right on the beach. Everyone in my party of 23 that went really enjoyed it. If you go all inclusive, i must say the food is fabulous! The only down side, is having to go home!

read the reviews of some people on your website and was terrified about going we`d already booked it, but i took the family there wife and two kids and could`nt believe what a beautiful place fuerteventura is the beaches are clean and golden the sea is turquoise and the people are lovely. the hotel is set in gardens which stretch right down to the beach there are two pools with bars and one with a huge slide for the kids, kids club with great staff . the germans outnumber the brits 10 to 1 but we found them ok . the entertainment at night is very international acrobats and stuff but there is a mini disco which kept the kids happy, its all inclusive and you got brekkie lunch and evening meal from a huge buffet and they varied the food quite a bit, if your still hungry you can get food from the bars all day , hot dogs etc.. plus you can drink as much as you like up to 11.00 at night. really enjoyed the rest and its on the beach so i`d recommened it for anyone who wants to recharge the batteries.

I was 16 when i went with my Mum, s-Dad, sisters 6 & 12 and my brother 4. We all had a great time, we went all inclusive and thought the food and service was lovely. The waiters/waitresses were always friendly and willing to help. wide range of food which often changed! yes there are alot of germans that go and yes they do put their towels on the sunbeds and walk off all day but you just have to put yours on there instead! we didnt go on any of the trips as we found the site, the shops, beach and nightlife enough entertainment, and look at the variety of ages in our family! our apartment was lovely,two double beds, ventilation, large bathroom and nice kitchen area! also a tv! i dont know how any one could complain really! i would definately go back again!

Well as soon as we arrived in fuerterventura ,it was very cloudy and i sed mum what are we doing here?and anyway we got on the mini bus and we were drove to different hotels it seemed a quiet place so we got to our hotel which looked really good and we went to the reception and there was a girl called Emma and she was brittish but spoke german and i thought oh theres bound to be sum english people here and we got our key and as we were walkin to our shellys there was a drunk woman so we hurried in and we put our suitcases in and i was too bothered about going exploring so we went into this club thing called the Tequila bar and there was 2 lads and a little girl and they came up to me they was english and sed are you english i sed yes why?they said because everyone else in here is German i though oh my god and anyway next day came the beds were comfy and i had a good sleep day after i went in the pool with these lads but the germans just stared at us all the time like we were different and then 4 days later the lads went home and i was crying because i was surrounded by people that couldnt understand us it was a good holiday though if people like exploring id recomend them to the Hotel monica beach its very good and the people are fantastic its very quiet but you get people staring when you eat , the food is ok once you get used to it ,its a very nice place though thanks for listening from Gemma Penno

Just to tell you all that i have just returned from an excellent stay at the monica beach with airtours. From the moment we arrived in fuerteventura we were met by our rep claire who was a very sweet girl very helpful and informative and nothing was too much trouble for her. We did have a few little problems when out shopping looking for particular brands of cigarettes and tabacco, but claire came to the rescue and when in another part of the island fetched these for us. We joined in 3 of the organised trips, the trip to lanzarote was excellent, had fun on the magic boat and enjoyed a night out on the sunday with all the reps on the island, even managed to win myself a bottle of bubbly for making a lot of noise, we would recommend this resort, hotel and airtours to anyone thinking about visiting fuerteventura. I would also like to say everyone is different, so dont always believe what every review say, for example i have read people who obviously didnt take to the rep, we had no problems with her nor from the service of airtours holidays.
