First time I have been away abroad myself with a friend. The hotel isn't the most up to date of the lot but is still a good hotel. The food was good, could always eat something. The staff were great, friendly and helpful. The hotel is situated in a great place amongst... more

Looks like the house from psycho. It’s the smallest dingiest, dirtiest hotel in Benidorm I actually found it embarrassing sitting out the front as people would stare at you. The rain canopy out the front is full of fag holes. And like the hotel itself leaks like a sieve... more

The hotel is old grubby and overcrowded. Floors in public areas dirty. Pool area small and overcrowded. Rooms small, third bed stuffed in what would have been the balcony. Food ok but not displayed well due to lack of space. Dining room smelly overcrowded and floors dirty.... more

Booked to stay at the Villa Benidorm in June for 12 people. When we arrived we were told that we were to stay in the Villa del Mar, which is on the outskirts of the old town not in the centre of the new town. We had paid extra to stay at Villa Benidorm as we had elderly... more

Beer only!
We were staying at another all inclusive hotel within this chain and decided to call here for drinks. As we were celebrating a 40th birthday there was 8 of us and we were staying for 3 nights in outer Benidorm. We were originally given temporary gold cards (card versions) and were told that we would be ok with these. We encountered problems ordering our drinks, the first 3 couples had a bit of a problem but were given their drinks eventually as their cards were questioned. When we ordered our drinks the bar staff shouted at us and... more
fab lovely holiday
stayed at the villa de benidorm 8th till 22nd of august. the weather was perfect! there were 9 of us in three rooms age ranges from 7 to 60. ROOMS rooms were clean and well presented bedding changed 3 times a week and fresh towels everyday, although there was no draw space lots of wardrobe space and other places to put things. FOOD food was lovely good variety always hot and the restaurant staff were the best i have ever come across friendly and helpful all the time. ENTERTAINMENT this is the only downside... more
hot night lack of air conditioning
Just come back from a week's stay at the Magic Villa De Benidorm First and formost the STAFF are the best i have ever encountered being abroad always got time to stop and chat The room was very small for me my wife and two children aged 14(girl) and 12(boy). The kids had the two single beds, while we was cramped on a bed settee The air conditon was very poor,it was about as powerfull as a handheld children's fan, we could not open the windows as we was getting bit,my wife and daughter had over 120 bits between... more
Very Very Good Value
We booked a double room at the Villa Benidorm on the internet on all inclusive basis for around £300 (for two adults). The food was very good, lots of variety and was always piping hot. The fresh fish and seafood were particularly good. There are snacks if you need them in between main meals and local alcohol is 100%free!. There is on-site entertainment but it was not the best - dont worry wander out the hotel and there are plenty of clubs that offer free entertainment (lots are family orientated as well) The rooms were pretty basic... more
if you havent book yet go elsewhere
the restaurant - food was hot with plenty of variety the staff were friendly and very helpful the layout is more like a tired cafe but clean and pleasant the entertainment - the worse we have ever experienced - the kids entertainer shouts into the mike and the music is so loud it drives you crazy. kids disco was at midnight some nights all of it too late for young children. the shows were hit and miss and lasted 30 mins when they did arrive. the rooms- they were clean good size, we were placed down corrider having... more

great hotel
stayed here in march for 1 week booked for christmas and in march also this speaks for it self. It is a friendly hotel we met a lot of friends in the bar at night. The food was good and we saved a lot of money going all inclusive we stayed in while 12 and then went out after this. When you come in if you have had not had enough to drink you can get another drink it as optics to help your self and also a fridge with bread ham to make a sandwich better than john and josephs. I would definate recomend this hotel not far from the beach and night... more
I was happy with it most of the time!!
Well, what can i say... i enjoyed most of my stay at the Villa De Benidorm. We stayed there from Tuesday the 2nd - 16th May 2006! THE ROOMS On our first two days there, there was a bit of a problem with hot water. As we were on the 5th floor, the excuse from reception was that the people on the lower floors had taken it all, but when speaking to some guests from the lower floors, reception had told them that the people at the top of the hotel had taken it all. Then they said the boiler had broke. Then on the second day the whole... more
A wonderful family holiday at Villa de Benidorm
Just returned from the Hotel de Benidorm, after a truly wonderful week. Arrived on the Saturday to find that Thomas Cook had messed up and not requested adjoining or nearby rooms, hotel manager/staff apologised profusely and promised to move us on the Monday. They kept their word and moved us to a spotless room again overlooking pool side. Rooms although lacking drawer space, are cleaned every day and towels replaced and beds made daily. All staff very friendly, lovely receptionist and great bar staff. The kids loved it especially the play... more
Never Again
We have just returned from two weeks at hotel Magic Villa de Benidorm 10 of us went. We paid for one pool veiw room which we did not get we were all in standard rooms. We requested a cot for my grandson Kenzie who is 7 months old, no cot. Three days with no hot water, entertainment manager walked out, no caberet for 4 nights. Paid all inclusive food ok but not enough variety for kids and snacks were simply leftovers from breakfast ,lunch and dinner. Whilst we were there groups of holidaymakers were being told that there was no room... more
