Well what can i say? only 2 stars? i should give it 3.5. The hotel was very natural looking, and not trying to be over-the-top. It is owned by a family so it is well presented. The gardens in the hotel are large and very well looked after compared to most of the hotels in olu deniz. The rooms a average and not small. beds are big, draws, cupboards, and space to put your luggage away. air conditioning was amazing and the room got a bit cold with it on during the night.
the food was one of the cheapest in the area and the drinks (1 large beer) is only 3 lira (compared to 5 and 6 lira in the area). people are kind and pleasant. i felt very comfortable relaxing by the pool there. they do have families going there, mainly polish and english.
you are told not to bring food and drinks into the hotel room but i always did. i often bought very cheap snacks and water for 1 lira from the small markets across the road.
the road? well it can be busy during the day. i mostly staed on the beach (3lira to get in the lagoon part). watch the sun. its very hot in the afternoons, you will get burned if your not careful when you first get there.
the hotel was clean and tidy. there are safes in the reception.
all in all the place was good. don't expect a palace and grandure!!! your in olu dinez, in turkey, where all the hotels are basically the same. and yes, all the hotels are basically the same. your only there to sleep and have some food. you will be out on the beach all day, like me. :)
trust me. ata lagoon beach hotel is a quality bargin not to be missed.
