Amazing holiday. The apartments are clean and attractive. The pool is lovely, and there are always sunbeds available. The bar area is pretty and the food from here is amazing. The staff are fantastic. Nothing is too much trouble from them. And they are all so friendly and welcoming. They make the stay that much more enjoyable. Lovely lovely people. Would recommend to everyone, esp as the island is such a beautiful place, and tsilivi is a beautiful aprt to the island.

Just got back from an excellent 2 weeks at the Zante Star. Excellent! Staff incredibly friendly, any requests were dealt with promptly and without hesitation. Plenty of sunbeds around the pool no matter what time you arrived. Short walk to the beach and into the main resort, quite pleasant after a days relaxation. Already booked to go again next year.

ITS OUR THIRD TIME AT ZANTE STAR AND WOULD NOT STAY ANY WHERE ELSE ITS SO CLEAN STAFF R AMAZING NOTHING IS TO MUCH TROUBLE WE HAD A WICKED TIME AND MEET SOME LOVELY PEOPLE AND SOME OF THEM WERE THERE FROM LAST YEAR WHO WE HAD MEET THE POOL IS A GOOD SIZE AND PLENTY OF SUN BEDS FOR ALL DEFO GOING AGAIN CAN NOT FAULT ZANTE STAR AT ALL

Stayed at the Zante Star for 2 weeks end of July 2008. The hotel is quite new very clean but quite a long way out from the beach and the resort itself, approx 20 minute walk and we are not slow walkers by the way. especially when the temperatures are into the high 30's. The room we had was an inland view, it seems that alot of people do return each year and do get the best rooms with pool views. If you do get allocated an inland view,you get the charm of the local farmer and his cockrels waking you at around 3am every morning and if they do go quite he wakes them again by ringing a bell constantly-lovely!! The rooms get cleaned most days and sheets and towels only get changed twice a week, but they do provide toilet rolls all holiday. Air conditioning is an extra £110 euros for the fortnight and you get £20 euros returned when you leave thats classed as a deposit. The corridors are very noisy at night when guests are returning to their beds they have no consideration for their fellow holidaymakers letting their kids run up and down screaming and shouting etc.Yianni seems to be a character but i did ask for extra pillows for the beds and got told that he had numerous guests in at the time,not what you really want to hear. Tsilivi resort itself very nice lots of things to do bowling ,crazy golf etc . Would i return to Zante Star? Probably not its abit isolated where it is which is a shame because its nice accomodation but in the wrong place.

We visited the Zante Star for 1 week in May 2008. It was a lovely friendly and clean hotel. It was in a quiet part of the town only 5 mins from the beach and about a 10 min walk to the shops and resturants. We all had a great time, the only down side was the room we had was small for a family of four with a teenage son, we were located at the back of the hotel which looked onto a field it was very noisy from the local farmer and cockerels crowing at 3.00am every morning. I was a little upset has I had booked 12 months earlier and requested a pool view. There seems to be many repeat visitors who get the better rooms. Overall it is well worth a visit.

Got back from the Zante Star on 13th July, and looking to book again next year cannot wait, Yanni and girls make you feel so welcome, the apartments are very clean, as are all the surrounding areas, the beach is just a 5 min stroll away and the town centre about 10 mins, the transfer from the airport is about 30 mins max.



The food at the hotel is great value and very big portions, but if you want to eat out there are plenty of resturants in the area, try Valintios Castle beef in brandy was great!!!



We met loads of friendly people and hopefully some will be joining us again next

What can we say? We have just returned from a fortnight at the Zante Star and we had an absolutely fantastic holiday!



The hotel is without doubt the best accommodation that we have stayed in within Greece. It is exceptionally clean, modern and perfectly situated just on the edge of town.



The pool is superb, and so relaxing, with enough sun beds for everyone. The staff are great, really friendly and make you feel at home.



The food menu is excellent, with lots of choice at very reasonable prices.



Yannis (the owner) is a real character and is very welcoming.



Overall, we cannot speak highly enough of this hotel; we absolutely loved it there, and will without doubt be returning, which was the similar view of most of the guests whom we spoke to during our stay.



Thank you Zante Star for a great holiday!



(P.S. We are not the sort of people who normally write holiday reviews, but we felt so strongly about this place, we really wanted people to know how lovely it is there!)

My wife had been to the Zante Star before, 4 years previous, and had a fantastic time so we decided to try it again.



It is easily the cleanest most comfortable and well kept hotel that I have ever been in, and I have stayed in many hotels throughout the world.



Yannis Foulidis is a credit to the success of the hotel as nothing is too much trouble, and the service provided by his staff impeccable.



Can’t wait to get back over in October.

This Hotel Is the best I have stayed at, it is very clean, friendly and everything you need to make a good holiday.



Town is about a 5 to 10 minute walk away, which has many shops and restaurants. There is a quiet end of town or a busy end of town, depending of what you feel like.



The beach is about a 5 minute walk, with tavernas on the edge for a bite to eat at lunch.



The local supermarket is at the end of the road a couple of minutes walk, where you can find most things needed. I would recommend the huge iced donuts, fresh in everyday.



The Zante star rooms are of a good size and has a well equipped kitchen with fridge and a compartment freezer, ideal for ice packs.



The pool is of a good size and very clean with plenty of sunbeds and umbrellas around the side.



The bar serves food throughout the day and they even started an evening menu while we were there. The food is very good and at a good price. Try the pizzas they are gorgeous.



Everyone was so friendly, not only the staff but the people staying at the Hotel and the people in the village.



The bar stays open till about 1.30pm and has Greek nights, quiz nights etc, so always plenty to do.



I would definitely recommend this Hotel and even go back again; I had such a great holiday.

What can you say. Superb location, excellent service. Comfortable. Friendly staff.



Ideal location for exploring the island, get a car.



Local’s extremely nice short walk into town or a short bus ride into Zante town.
