Please don't waste your money. You will be shouted at, threatened at and intimidated by the aggressive, volatile owners. You will have them storm into your room and tell you to "go to bed" if you are talking in your room after 12pm. Worst of all your personal belongings will be rifled through when you are not in the room.
However Pefkos is a very pretty part of Rhodes island, just find somewhere else to stay!!

Dont know where previous reviewers went but the Kambosas we went to was a death trap,3 year old grandson fell over within 2 hours of being there and had to be ambulanced to Rhodes hospital for stitches if you value your family at all do not under any circumstances book this hotel, the grounds are treacherous for kids, no paths just gravel everywhere, we couldnt stand it so moved ourselves as Olympic holidays wouldnt, even the rep Kerry said it wasnt suitable for kids and the hotel owners said this, the owner tried to tell us the cut on grandsons head was not problem I was in the army its no problem tried to give us a dirty bit of rag and iodine that looked a 100 years old we told him where to go. we moved ourselves to the Coliseum hotel/appartments which was excellent and friendly. so please dont book this you will regret it even if you are desparate for a holiday. some people there said they actually cried when they arrived because it was such a dump.

Just got back from Pefkos and we enjoyed our stay at the Kombosas. The family were very caring and friendly. Cleaned the room every day apart from Sunday and we had clean bedding every few days. Yes its up the hill but there is a bus for one euro and taxis are 4 euros. Greece has a smoking ban now but I was surprised to see people are still allowed to smoke in Pefkos by Night which is a pub with music even the barman was smoking. Im sure there is a heavy fine for all people smoking but no-one semed to care. That was the only downside as I am not used to smelling of smoke now because of the ban here. Would definitely go back to Kambosas and across the road is Dimitris which has a pool.

  • Advice: Lovely sandy beaches, plenty of places to eat and very reasonable prices
  • Activities: Boat trip to Lindos was great and the restaurant by the bakery was very good value

Very basic but if like us you just need a room to sleep and shower then this is perfect, situated opposite another set of apartments which you have full use of the pool and pool bar, the views from the front facing balconcies are stunning, you look down over pefkos villiage and night it is so lovely to look at whilst having a drink at the pool bar.
Yes it is situated at the top of a huge hill, which we did walk up once, but there is a taxi rank at the bottom, cost no more then a pound each time back up, the walk down takes five minutes and you get to appreciate the views as you go so will probably take you twenty minutes like me as you will want to stop every second and stare out over the sea!!
The room itself consisted of two single beds, wardrobe dressing table, there is cooking facilities which is two hot plates adjoined next to the sink with a small fridge, as long as your not cooking a huge meal your fine but with the choices of restaurants at the bottom of the hill who wants to cook!!
The bathroom is small but has a shower.
Very clean very comfy and the owners (who live on site) are lovely very welcoming.
We stayed for a week here and could comfortably stay longer as it was everything we needed, would definately stay here again looking forward to doing so.
