Loved every second of it. Never ate there for evening meals but went there a few times for breakfast. Must admit though the owner Michalis was a bit aggressive and the fact that every night for the last week our Air Conditioning was turned off during the night (3-4 a.m) was a bit off putting.
As said up there Giovanni was an amazing entertainer and I adored him. POWER!
Well Pefkos is about a 5 minute walk away from Palm bay but I wouldn't reccomend you go down to the beach directly across from Palm bay as it's extremely shingley and not very nice.
Would go back to Palm Bay though but if it weren't for Giovanni then I wouldn't go back. I loved the man and he was extremely flattering and lovely.

What a great holiday......
Had a flight at some late time in the evening so when we eventually arrived to the hotel it was about 5am, so quiet but we were greeted by the manager and shown to our room which was in the block on the side of the road where the pool was. After leading us down some steps down the side of where the pool area is we arrived at our room looking out to the beach.
Rooms fairly small bathroom wasnt a great size either but everything you needed. Powerful shower which was a bonus even if the shower curtain did wrap itself around you.
Had a problem with our air conditioning but was soon fixed and needed in mid August during a heat wave.
Great food had lunch everyday, the greek salads were lovely.
Gino behind the bar is a legend and great fun all i can say is POWER!!!!!!!!!
A bit of a trek into Pefkos but one main straight road so no hills in sight which was fab.
I would recommend driving/getting a taxi into Lindos one evening as is a fantastic place. Bit more expensive but worth a visit some great restaurants, bars and shops down small cobbled street, very Greek,
Overall had a great stay definitely recommend Palm Bay!!!!

After reading the above reviews for the Palm Bay, my partner and I thought we were in for a real treat when we booked a holiday for 4 of us to the Palm Bay. We were extremely disappointed.
After arriving at the studios at around 10pm were were shown to our apartment up a flight of stairs that had no light which was a bit of a struggle especially with our cases in the dark. When we got into the room and we were bitterly disappointed. This was our 3rd time to Rhodes so we expected the accommodation to be basic, but this was beyond basic. The fridge was in the middle of the room and in the shower room (more like wet room) there was a hole in the ceiling where the extractor fan had been with the electrical wires hanging down through the roof. This wasn't a good start so we were moved to a different room.
The 2nd room was smaller but slightly nicer. However the shower didn't work properly and the toilet seat was broken. The shower curtain was filthy and barely reached the shower tray. The drain in the middle of the bathroom floor was cracked and you could see all the dirty water that had drained away.
We saw the rep and explained the situation and I must admit she was excellent. She spoke to the owner and ensured us that he would sort it out. It did take him a few days to actually get round to fixing the shower and toilet but every time she was at the studios she would come and find us and ask us if it had been sorted. She would always go back to the owner to chase him up on it!
The apartments were clean but the towels and bed linen were only changed once a week but the bins were emptied everyday. Despite the disappointment with the apartments we had a fantastic holiday.
The pool area was spotlessly clean with fantastic views overlooking the beach and sea, when the brochure says its right on the beach, believe me its right on the beach. There were plenty of sunbeds and parasols even late in the afternoon so it didn't matter what time you got to the pool there was no problem finding a bed.
It was about a 5 min stroll into the resort centre along the main road which had no pavements and as it was the main Pefkos/Lardos road it could get a little busy. The resort of Pefkos itself is lovely with lots of bars and restaurants to choose from. You can get a taxi from the resort centre into Lindos for 6 euros which I recommend.
If you decide to hire a car while your there I'd recommend Marathon as we found them considerably cheaper than hiring through the travel rep. I would highly recommend visiting Old Rhodes Town, the water park and Parasanissi (where the Agean sea meets the Med-fantastic!!)
All in all the holiday was fantastic but that had more to do with the fab people we went with and the gorgeous weather rather than the accommodation. Would definitely go back to Pefkos but not the Palm Bay.

Palm Bay was a very clean a tidy place. There were always people about sweeping up leaves etc and the pool was also kept clean and tidy throughout our 2 week stay.
I would say where it was situated was ideal for a quieter holiday as it was about a 5 min walk outside the main resort of Pefkos. Palm Bay is split onto 2 sites by the road. On one side are the pool and the restaurant and on the other is the main set of apartment blocks.
The apartments themselves were the smallest I have ever stayed in, in Greece. The fridge was about a foot away from the end of the bed and the bathroom was only 3 feet away from that! So not a lot of privacy or space and you could hear the fridge humming all night.
However on the plus side there was a kettle and a toaster provided and also there was a shower curtain and somewhere to actually hang the shower head! The rooms were also always kept very clean and tidy and with the apartments being family run if you had any problems at all they would be sorted out immediately.
We only ate at the restaurant once, as the food was distinctly average.
The apartments next door and the restaurant (Corallis) was actually about 100% better and the food was totally gorgeous - traditional Greek food with a good choice for veggies.
Pefkos itself was a bit rubbish - we only went for a quiet holiday so we weren’t that bothered but the restaurants were very average with some serving frozen bought in food rather than making it fresh on site.
There were a couple of good restaurants though - Coliseum, Terpsis (a bit more expensive but worth it) La Piazza (Italian) Blue Bay. Steer well clear of Nostalgia and Smile the food we ate in there was very very bland. I am vegetarian and although I expect to have little choice on holiday I have never been presented with such little choice when going to Greece before.
Pefkos consists of one main street with a couple of side streets. It takes about 10 minutes to walk through the whole resort and there is nothing but restaurants and a couple of the usual souvenir supermarket type shops.
Lindos is the next town along. We actually walked there from Palm Bay at a steady pace and it took 1 hour. You can get a taxi for 8 euro from Palm Bay or for 6 euro from Pefkos. Lindos is beautiful. There is a much wider selection of bars and restaurants and shops. We went to Rhodes Town one night and that is worth visiting but again becoming very commercialised now.
The waterpark in Faliraki was excellent. Well worth 20 Euros and you can take your own food/drink with you but there is not much point, as the prices are very reasonable in there.
Overall I wouldn’t go to Rhodes/Pefkos/Lindos again. It was a very average place all round and there are much nicer Greek Islands to go to (Kefalonia or Thassos!) Also the prices are pretty similar to England for food and drink.

My husband and I have been to Palm Bay twice now and loved every minute of it!
The rooms are basic but clean. As mentioned, the owner Michaelis is friendly and helpful. The whole resort oozes tranquillity!
The only disappointment is that the second time I was there, the beach in front of the hotel wasn't being maintained properly (hence the reason for an 8 out of 10 and not a 10!) but I don't know if this is the responsibility of the hotel or not.
It's still very clean with some lovely snorkelling, but there are no longer sun loungers or parasols, though the shop in the hotel sold parasols for 6 Euros so we just bought one and used it for the week.
The food in the hotel is also excellent! I lived on the Greek salad, though my husband was quite a big fan of the pizzas.
The resort of Pefkos is about a 10 minute walk. It's an easy stroll but not very scenic.
Once in the resort you'll have quite a number of restaurants and bars to choose from.
We never had a bad meal, though the dinner we had at the Blue Bay where we ordered a few traditional Greek appetizers and ate tapas style was particularly outstanding!
Definitely give this one a try!

This was a great holiday, accommodation was basic and small, and thankfully there was aircon at an extra charge.
Rooms cleaned couple of times a week. Staff great and friendly as Greeks usually are.
Have been to Greece half a dozen times now and this was the hottest holiday by far so watch out anyone whose pasty.
The accommodation is in 2 halves separated by a road. The ones up the bank are better and more modern.
Pefkos has a few bars, restaurants and a couple of clubs and nice beaches, checkout the Chinese.

The rooms are basic but very clean the staff are brilliant, Michalis the owner is lovely can’t be helpful enough Giovanni is entertainment on his own if you’ve met him you’ll know what I mean best barman ever.
The location is peaceful very relaxing. Pefoks is beautiful the beaches are clean the sea is crystal clear I recommend the glass bottom boat. What more can you ask for going to palm bay again in September with family can’t wait .

On arrival to the apartments the room that we were given was disgusting. It was filthy and had ants crawling everywhere, in the bed, drawers, sinks and even the fridge which had seen better days it was all rusty inside. The shower tray in the bathroom was so dirty it was black and had ants crawling there too. The two windows we had in our room was broken and would not close.
On complaining to the manager we were finally moved but only after alot of persuasion and a threat of moving to a different hotel.
Though the new room was better we still needed to clean the room before we could unpack .
The breakfast that you get is a joke your only allowed one cup of tea or coffee, one glass of juice and two peices of toast or one bread roll.
The swiming pool was rarely cleaned and everyones swimsuits changed colour due to the pool man just adding more chemiclas instead of cleaning the pool correctly.
The only upside to the place was the snack bar the food was very good but then you needed because breakfast was so rubbish.
The only member of staff that was execellent was Tony who did the brakfast and snack bar during the day. He was polite and friendly and always there to help.
