Sun Studios

Stayed at the Sun Sutdios for 2 weeks from 8th June 2011.
Was in Room 2. It has two single beds, bedside table and another table with 2 chairs in the room. There is a fridge, plenty of mugs, plates, glasses, cutlery and saucepans.There is a two ring hot plate which is more than adequate to prepare pasta or snacks.
There is a supermarket close by so don't have to lug things. This the same supermarket from where you can hire Air Con at E60 for 1 week or E110 for 2. You also leave a E40 key deposit which is refunded once key is returned.
Rooms 1-4 are in the shared courtyard. Room 5 is outside and round the corner down 3/4 steps. In the courtyard there are 5 tables and plenty of chairs. In the first week woman from Room 5 came every night for a gossip and a glass of wine. She wasn't too keen on Room 5. When she finished her holiday a couple, who have been going to Lindos for over 20 years, were in Room 5 and they preferred it to the courtyard. Said courtyard too hot and didn't get a breeze. Said also saved money as Room 5 is the coolest so didn't hire A/C. I guess it's horses for courses where Room 5 is concerned.
Room 1 has 3 single beds, Rooms 2, 3 & 4 all have 2 single beds and Room 5 has 3 beds - 1 is a single and 2 are Lindian i.e. two single mattresses on a wooden plateform. Have slept on Lindian beds, elsewhere, before and I have always found them comfortable.
Sun Stuidos are central to bars, shops, taxis in the square, restaurants and the main beach. They are also one of the cleansest I have stayed in and I have been to Lindos for quite a few years and have stayed in lots of different accommodations.
Helene, the owner, is a very caring person and if you have problems she will try her best to sort them out. When I was there she visited every evening and if she can't then she comes at least 3/4 times a week.
I can't wait for 2012 so I can book Sun Studios again.
