Afroditi Studios

just returned home after two wks staying at the afroditi studios on arival the room was unclean sand and hairs on floor even hairs in the fridge the room was under the restaurant number 5 which was no prob apart from the visitors we had every day {big cockroaches}so didnt sleep for days,asked to be moved and got refused by the tour operator,the cleaner used the same water and mop to clean every room even mopped round a dead cockroache, towell change sat and wed only and you only get hand towells.we have stayed in lindos 4 times now and we know studios are basic but you do expect them to be clean.we love lindos and will be going back but not to the afroditi studios.

been going for five years, great place, great views if you get the right apartments,very relaxed, well placed for amenities, great owners, perfect for getting in and out of the main town, but needs updating inside the apartments , been round many other newer ones no longer worth the money you pay

We have been to Lindos before and booked to go again only 3 weeks before this holiday, so we didn't know these apartments but sort of knew what to expect. We were pleasently surprised, although basic (which we expected), it was the first time we'd ever had an electric kettle in Greece. The view was amazing, the apartment was cleaned every day and we were minutes from everything. The only downside was we only got 2 loo rolls in 2 weeks, but small price to pay (we did buy some more).
Our 2nd time to Lindos and the place is beautiful, its the only time I've been abroad and not been apprehensive about walking about on my own, no hassle, no one tries to sell you anything, unless you want to buy it. Everywhere you go there are views, the beaches are lovely although coming back up the hill in the heat is hard, but you get used to it.
We decided against hiring a car and took the bus on day trips, always an adventure and truly Greek!!
I never thought I would be the kind of person that kept going back to the same place but that view from the apartment and Lindos itself and am already looking to go back next year

The location was the only plus point of these appartments. I've just come back from a holiday with the whole family, we took up 3 seperate appartments. Me, my partner and 8 month old daughter was in one which we had nothing but trouble with. It was so hot that the first night my daughter just could not sleep so the next day i paid 45 euros to have a/c the following 6days, however that night we came back to find our electricity had blown so the a/c did not work nor did the fridge. After carting everything in the fridge to my mums appartment in the middle of the night i also had to stay there to wash up as we had no hot water, use the kettle for daughters bottles and the toilet as we had no window in ours so it was pitch black. Then i went back to the room to find the emergency light was blaring so none of us could get a wink of sleep. So far 3 sleepless nights as we came on a night flight... horrendous! We had to wait 3 days with no hot water until the thermostat got fixed, the 3 of us taking showers at my mums. Then when it did get fixed it flooded the appartment, he used our towels to soak some of it which we then had to beg for clean ones as we hadnt received clean towels, bedding or more toilet roll yet. Following this our water was stil tempremental, the showers were as powerfull as a dripping tap, two of my family kettles broke, their bathroom door got jammed and my grandparents who stayed for another week after we left still had to ask for clean towels. Would NOT recommend. Views from front facing appartments lovely and close to town.

I have just returned from the most relaxed holiday i have ever enjoyed. This was my second visit to lindos, and the first visit to the Afroditi studios, and i have to say that my sister and i were not dissappointed. The studios are simply furnished but clean, and are in a fantastic position, ours overlooking the bay with amazing views. The studios are only minutes from the main village centre with numerous wonderful bars, tavernas and restaurant serving gorgeous greek food. Lindos is a very beautiful area, but definitely not suitable for anyone with any form of walking difficulties, as the minute you are dropped off at the village you will be walking either up or down some very steep paved areas, which can be very slippery. The access to the studios is also via two flights of steep steps. Overall though a wonderful place to stay - we will be returning again and again!

We found these apartments perfect for our holiday, simply furnished but very clean (daily maid service exc Sunday) no cockroaches as one previous review stated!!! Our apartment had one of the best views in Lindos overlooking the bay with various goats, chickens and donkeys in between. With a friendly run supermarket and the welcoming brothers who run the Oasis Restaurant close by you have everything you need on your doorstep. The apartments are in an excellent location for the beach (a fairly steep 5 min walk downhill) and the centre of the village minutes away with a variety of bars , shops and restaurants. Lindos itself is tiny but we loved the compact layout even when the day trippers were in full force. It's easy to understand why so many people return year after year we couldn't fault our apartments or the resort and will be returning to Afroditi in a fortnight! I travelled with my 14yr daughter and was a little apprehensive but it is a safe friendly environment. I haven't read many reviews for Afroditi but no one staying there during our visit had any complaints. I would recommend these apartments to anyone looking for basic clean accomodation with a wonderful views of the bay.
