could not fault our studio which had 2 balconies but would like to point out that there is no sandy beach a 5 minute walk from the studios and anyone who can reach the town beach in 12 minutes must be an olympian.
within a few minutes of the studios there is one of the best tavernas in the resort, forgotten the name but as you walk down the back road towards xrioneri beach it is on your left at the first junction. high quality food at very reasonable prices. try the only cocktail they do it will certainly set you up for the evening!!!!

Dont get me wrong the studios was pretty, typically greek, but we did request an upstairs room and we got bottom floor & there was a room vacant upstairs for the whole week we was there!!
On the ground floor terrace which we had, there is a low down wall between you and next door so its like sharing your patio with someone else, felt like you had to whisper a lot of the time! It was also opposite a small field that I can only describe as an up and coming potential scrap yard with an abandoned boat, fridge etc, chickens and a cockerill, that yes, true to form was awake about 4am, but the main problem was the poor dog that was inside a pen and was quiet during the day but boy did he make up for it at night!! none stop barking..not good when you are on holiday.
The room was basic but clean, you was given clean towels more or less everyday by the friendly staff, the bed was changed during the week and the bins emptied everyday. The room just looked a bit tired and needed a few repairs doing, but it was clean like i say.
It was only a 12 min walk down to the beach and there is a handy little supermarket 5 mins away. Plenty of restaurants and bars in parga. Walking up the steps up towards the castle is not easy if you are not fit, as the steps are quite steep and its very hot, but the shops are lovely.
Parga is a beautiful place and not too busy when we was there, the beach is lovely and the people everywhere we went was very friendly. We would return at some point in the future to Parga but sorry to say not to the Aliki Studios
