Rhinefield and Vine Cottages

N.B. Not to be confused with Rhinefield Bothy or Vine Cottage. Rhinefield Bothy and Vine cottage are beautifully located within the grounds of Rhinefield House Hotel, sleeping 38 people. I can't speak for all owners of New Forest cottages, but most forest cottages, and certainly all the cottages around Rhinefield, do have oil boilers, as there is no mains gas. It does not surprise me that this holidaymaker found his boiler not working in July, and neither did his friends the previous summer. Like us, most owners will turn off the boiler for summer and would not expect heating to be needed in July. We have pumped electric hot water systems and electric showers, which are on all year round. Our cottages at Rhinefield are extremely popular, largely due to repeat bookings from large family groups and groups of friends, who enjoy the space and freedom that the buildings and the location provide
