One word can describe these apartments and that's perfect! Me and 5 friends stayed at the Danaides for a week and compared to everyone we met we had the best apartments! Service was great, right in the centre but hidden behind a bar so its not noisy, the pool is bigger than it looks on the picture and the building grounds are very well looked after too.
There is one point though, I wouldn't say it was right for families as its just young lads and ladies around ! Definitely want to go back and would defo pick the Danaides!!!

Well what can I say, 17yr old lad with 7 of his mates on their first holiday together and couldn’t have picked a more amazing place to stay!!!! Honestly Malia is awesome, the people are awesome...wide range of ages and nationalities all there for one thing...to have an unbelievably good time.
The apartments were brilliant, cleaned everyday by the gorgeous cleaners (although am sure they didn’t think the same every morning after we were all slumped on the balcony with beer everywhere :D) the pool was cleaned everyday with a great pool bar for them ever needed early morning drinks and breakfasts to aid recovery of the previous night.
Danas the security man (big softie really) lol was great and looked after us when we fell asleep on the grass and woke up in our rooms cheers buddy!! What else can I say...situated in a superb place...the hustle and bustle right on your doorstep what more could you want!!! Definitely recommended and I think were going back again this year.
Malia the place to be!!!!!

Where to start it was a great holiday one of the best I’ve been home a week and am missing it already.
The apartments are well nice and the people are really friendly one person at the hotel who made our holiday was George the pool barman, he was so nice really made us feel at home we spent all our days round the pool and we had a lot of fun with him.
I went Magaluf 13 weeks before Malia and compared to Malia it was total crap, I'd never think twice about going back to Danaides apartments.
The only thing that put me off was a bit of a misunderstanding about some blankets that we didn’t need, but it got sorted and we got home fine and as soon as I landed at Gatwick I wished I was back at the pool.
I had a wicked time met some really great groups of people, and will definitely be going back!

Malia is great! I went to Malia in august, with 6 of my friends, I would say the Danaides apartments is the best place to stay in Malia, the rooms are very clean, cleaned every other day provided with new sheets and towels which was great! Also situated in the middle of the strip!! Which is great when you’re ready to go out.
The pool is very nice not too small, with sun beds. As us girlies love to sunbathe
!!! The apartments are very privatised at the back of Malibu bar and very nice, the only bad thing is that you not allowed anybody in your rooms as you can be fined up to 40 euros.
The starff are welcoming!
You can have air con but it is 50 euros but it is worth it as it can get very hot in the rooms! Also you can get a safe box which is in the wardrobe which you have to pay for. Danaides is a 5 min walk from the beach!
In the middle of all the food restaurants brassieres is one of the best places to go eat!
Subway and MacDonald’s is very close too.
Overall Malia is great for young people, if you love to party and get drunk its the place to be! Not good for families or couples!
Be prepared to get very drunk as with 3 for one on drinks!

Just back from a week’s holiday in Malia. I would recommend Malia and the Danaides apartments to anyone. The hotel is very clean, the staff are friendly and good crack and the location is second to none! If you are looking for a lively fun holiday with bars, clubs and feeding houses at your doorstep this is the place to be!
The rep for the hotel was Mike who was helpful and full of that essential knowledge that anyone good at their job must have. We only went on one excursion for the holiday which was the comedy night, the comedian was second to none and the trip was definitely value for money
As with all lively places the PR's are a pain but it’s to be expected. If you go to a lively resort like Malia and not expect to be bothered frankly you are safer going to Butlins. It is something that is prolific in all similar resorts and believe it or not you get used to it!
The only bad thing about the whole holiday was not the resort or the hotel, but the airport. The airport is small with long queues for everything. Our flight home went like this: arrived at the airport after a pleasant coach journey before being told to stand in a line outside the airport for about 35~45 minutes as there were too many people in the terminal. Once inside we queued for a further 25 minutes before reaching the desk. We were then told to take our cases to a separate luggage belt to be transferred to the plane. Waiting a further 10~15 minutes (everyone has to do this). Once inside the terminal only one shop and one toilet block services over 1000 people. Tired, hot (and a little hungover) we then waited an hour before flying home - nightmare airport!

Wow, just come back from a week in Malia at the Danaides with 3 other girls. We had the best holiday ever.
We arrived at 7am and were given the key to our room straight away and told to check in later on that morning. The apartments are more or less on food corner which is where Beach road forks, but it was set behind a quiet bar called Mango which is opposite Camelot Castle club. So although it was more or less on the main strip it didn’t feel like you were and it wasn’t that noisy.
The apartment was really spacious with a bedroom that was also very big. It was also really clean. You have to pay 50 euros for the air con but we didn’t bother. The maids cleaned every other day and left clean towels each time.
The pool was a nice size and was always really clean. Apparently the owners of this hotel are millionaires and they certainly take pride in keeping these apartments looking good.
At our welcome meeting we were greeted my Mike who was the Olympic rep. He sold us 3 great excursions. 1. Booze cruise, which was excellent 2. Comedy night, also very good 3. Beach party, another p*ss up!
George was our friendly bar man who served food and drink all day long and always made us laugh! The nightlife was great, loads of good offers like 4 drinks for the price of 1 or free shots and free fish bowls! What more could you ask. Most of the bars played RnB but we loved Club UK for dance music and The Venue for indie music so there was a good mix.
One thing to bare in mind... if you’re thinking of bringing anyone back to the apartment think again. It was like MI5 on the door! Even my friend who was living there got frogmarched to our apartment to check that she was really staying there.
It is really good in a way because you know there will be no strangers lurking and it makes you feel safer.
The only complaint we had was that we had to be out of the room at midday on the Friday although our transfer was not picking us up until 3.30am Saturday. We paid 25 euros to keep the room until 6 but even this was not enough.
All in all though we had a boss time and are looking to go back in a few weeks before the season ends!

This was our first holiday abroad (me and a friend, I being 19 and her being 18). Overall we had a nice time in these apartments.
They were clean and tidy when we got there, and had the basics for a 3 star. The staff were friendly (and the bar staff especially were good fun). The swimming pool was lovely and clean and that area was very nice.
There was a small bar at the back where you could buy food and drinks, and although we didn’t really buy any food, there were no problems there.
When we arrived we realised that air-con wasn't included (and is so important over there as it was 30 degrees and over) so we had to pay 50 Euros for 1 week, and then 15 Euros for safety deposit box (both were worth it though).
One thing that bugged us most was that we had to wait from 5pm till 9.40 till we actually got into our room, and after a whole day of travelling we got up at 5), we were fed up and wanted a shower to cool down (I was still in my jeans!!!).
By the time we actually got in our room we had no time to unpack and rushed down the road to try and get some food for dinner and the morning, and in doing this was bothered by PR's trying to get us into the clubs - you can imagine we weren’t in the best of moods anyway!
The reason they gave us that we didn’t get in our rooms for ages was that the other people didn’t check out till late - but that shouldn’t have been our problem to deal with really. They didn't seem too apologetic but gave us a couple of drinks on the house.
Most of the people that stayed in that week were nice and quiet, although we did find a couple of nights that someone had either thrown loads of other peoples clothes and various things over our balcony, or climbed over our wall (we were on the 2nd floor but attached to an apartment next door) and broke our clothes rail and ruined our papers/magazines outside.
We were situated right smack bang in-between the junction that brings together the 3 strips of bars/clubs/restaurants/shops. To most people this would probably be ideal, but literally when it is night time you are a prisoner if you can't deal with the PR's hassling you. There’s at least 1 every 20 secs as you walk in any direction, so it's best to go out before 9-10pm if u want to get anywhere else quickly.
The bonus though is that we found we could get home easily without needing a taxi, and go to shops easily during the day.
If you are the quiet type, don't come here!!! Families wouldn't be recommended either.
If you are young and want to go out every night and get drunk/go to the beach and tan all day/have a close radius to the English pubs/clubs/shops then this is definitely your place to go!!

This is the best accomodation i have EVER stayed in on a guys holiday!!! :) The place is really clean, the people that work there are a good laugh and very nice. If u give them respect, they will be good to u! There were 16 of us there and had the best time ever! Special mention to george and sergi! Only one problem.... u couldnt bring girls back, but there is a beach down the road! Great atmosphere during the day at the pool. It couldn't be situated in a better place, smack bang in the middle of the 3 main streets!!! Also.... the balconys are belters!!! Also met many nice people from london n manchester!!
