We were transfered to the apollon from Roda because of the bad accomadation there, well to our suprise there was not much difference here either. At the apollon we had no means of making toast or cooking anything because we had no grill or cooker,Thats because the owners wanted you to buy food from them if you didnt you was an outcast.
We were not spoken to , which didnt bother us we just done our own thing and ate out all the time.
We would not go there again and as for the reviewers that gave them a 10 must have bought food from them all the time.
On the positive side Kassopi is a great place ,shame about all the steep hills ( you have got to be fit ).

Eight of us went and eight of enjoyed. We had a great time with Panos,Debbie and Kenny. They were brilliant hosts and made us very welcome. I know everyone has their own opinions and thats fair enough, but we found the family very accomodating and we chose to eat with Panos on most nights because his foods great. We went out a couple of times and i found no anomosity towards us at all. Panos was there when we needed a lift back (Thanks x). All in all we had a fantastic time and we've just booked again for next year. Thanks for a lovely time to Panos,Debbie and Kenny the Vlachos family See you next year XX Tracey, Lucy and Dave. (Keith and family) X

when we arrived at the apollon apartments we were surprised and pleased with our choice of accomodation.our host panos appeared sincere and friendly.but this was not to last,as we did not eat in his resturant we wanted to explore, he did not speak to us,we did not see him once take people down to the village in the mini bus,and once we did ask him to take us down and he refused, stating he had just dropped guests down, so we walked ,when we got to the village we bumped into the guests, and they told us they had also walked i can only describe his behaviour as bullying ,as it was like being back in school and he was nice to his favourites; the rooms were not clean as we cleaned them ourselves there was dead insects under the beds,we had one meal there because we felt we had to as he kept on asking us,he cooks on a two ring stove next to the bar almost like a camping stove, and there is a microwave underneath it and thats it ,we both had upsets stomachs the following day, he did not wash his hands once as we were watching him cooking, we would never return there, but the area is wonderfull and the people in the village were lovely
- Advice: it needs to be cleaner and panos needs to be kind and friendly

We arrived at the apartments with an open mind having read previous negative comments. Unfotunatly they were all proved correct. If you are a family who wishes to spend all of their time and money at the apartments and bar then you will have a cracking holiday. If, however, you like to also spend time visiting the local restaurents and bars in Kassiopi then you will find yourself out of favour with the owners and alienated and awkward. It does not matter if you eat at the bar for a evening meal occasionally, this is still not enough to stay in favour with the owners.
Beware, do not move the sun beds! this is against health and safty policy as we were told and do not even think to put up a sun umberella if there is a puff of wind as this will be put down even while you are sat under it!

obviously everyone goes on holiday with an open mind after reading these reviews ( hmmmm ) but me and my wife jen really did..... so, in our honest opinion, we were welcomed by our minibus ride to the apartments by panos, a lively and lovely bloke who makes you feel welcome and on holiday from the first second, we spent time travelling around the island, eating out, exploring and enjoying corfu. when we fancied a late drink back at the apartments, debbie, panos and kenny were always happy to join us for a friendly chat (the love story is amazing :0D ) or we could have a drink and a read of our books, total relaxation. the hill is described in the brochure and is a walk (or a jog) for the basically fit, but the views are well worth it, as is the peace and tranquilty. panos, as mentioned, will cook anything you fancy at a few hours notice, and all fresh. i even managed to get him to let me cook for him! debbie is always on hand, and nothing seems too much trouble at anytime! proper family feel (thanks mum!) and kenny is a great lad, lots of fun and always up for a laugh (and make sure he hasn't got his phone in his pocket before you throw him in the pool :0D ) met some wonderful people over there and enjoyed our new friends families birthday celebrations. if you're looking for a fantastic friendly relaxing holiday in beautiful surroundings, look no further. oh, and for panos.... "love you baby, boogie boogie!!" have fun fellow travellers.

Stayed at the Apollon in June 2011 .
What a fantastic time we had , my grandchild played all the time in the pool we had fantastic vegetarian food cooked by Panos, and a great host in Debbie.
Panos will cook whatever you want, of course he wants you to eat in his Restaurant that is how he makes his living. And after eating out I can honestly say I would stick with Panos everytime.
Great place great time and a big Thank you to Panos and Debbie and of course Kenny.

Had a lovely time at the Apollon. Debbie, Panos and Kenny made us all feel very welcome. While we was there it was my sisters second birthday and they went out of their way to organise us a little party which she loved!! Panos would cook us anything we asked as long as we let him know in advance, Debbie was really welcoming and friendly and spent a lot of time entertaining Diona which we are thankful for. Their son spent a lot of time with my dad even went on a fishing trip which my dad really enjoyed. Overall a lovely family. The only downfall was the hill up to the appartments especially when we had the buggy, but Panos does do a free mini bus service at allocated times to service this. We also met some good friends over there also guests at the Apollon and the rep Grant was always around to help,, Will definatley be going back to the Apollon in the near future! Thankyou! :)

if you want self catering this not for you.....panos and debbie do make you welcome and they do work long hours(dont we all),......but......and i mean but.if dont spend your entire holiday,,, spending in there bar, they WILL fall out with you.there is a massive conflict of interest.because its self catering, but if you dont spend with them they are not happy bunnies....be warned....

My husband 15 year old son and i were looking forward to our holiday and went with an open mind after reading the reviews, unfortunatly they were true, panos and debbie welcome you very nicely however when you decide to do your own thing and eat else were they dont approve and you get the silent treatment which is very awkward.
Also our room was clean on arrivel fresh towels sheets changed the first week but the second week there was nothing and as the weather was in the range of 38-42 degress, this wasnt pleasent. To be fair there is a lot of work involved in the cleaning of the rooms for one person (debbie does this on her own) but there should be fresh towels/sheets.
It also states that there is a bus service this is not the case and is only availabel if panos has decided that your his friend (staying at the pool buying and drinking there more expensive snacks/drinks).The walk to the town is fine to go down however it is not as easy to go back up espesially in the heat and if its dark, a taxi costs 5 euros and is worth it.On the plus side if you are looking for a relaxing chill out holiday and want to sit buy the pool and stay at the apartments then this is ideal but not if you want to explore. The views are amazing from the apartment to the front and pool side but they are apartments to the back which look onto trees and foliage.

I read all the reviews before I arrived at Appollon Apartments and went with an open mind. Panos, Debbie and Kenny are excellent hosts. Warm, friendly and entertaining. The apartments were clean and serviceable and the the food supplied by Panos was delicious. On our arrival we were met by Panos and driven up to the apartments, where the view is spectacular. I have no complaints about our holiday, we enjoyed the walk up the hill when out of sync with Panos' taxi service. I hope to go back to Appollon one day with my family this time as it is one of those holidays where 'what you see is what you get' and to feel safe and welcome in a holiday resort is a very rare thing. Thank you again Panos, Debbie and Kenny.

The resort was great, but not the apartments. We had a 2 room apartment, but there was only air con in 1 room. This room had a door that did not have a catch on it, so it was either put a chair against it or have it swinging open and shut all day. The only thing to cook on was 2 electric rings. We asked in the bar one lunch time for salads, and was told they could not do that only chips or sandwhich on white sliced bread! the beds were clean but the bathroom was not!! as for it being hard work, Pannos sat in the bar most of the day and so did debbie. any time after 10am both of them were down there. even if 1 room each day had a good clean things would have been better. there are only 9 rooms. we also found that the bar was only open in the evening if there was a footy match on. other wise it was closed after about 7pm.
