This is the second time we stayed at the Apollon apartments, and we would definetly stay there again. The rooms are basic but very clean. Bedding and towel changes are regular throughout the week. The apartments are run by Panos, his English wife Debbie and their son Kenny. You cannot fault their hospitality from start to finish of your holiday.
Breakfasts and snackfood are prepared all day, and evening meals on request. I'd recommend trying the evening meals as Panos and Debbie are good cooks! We had stifado one evening and t-bone steak another. Panos also does a bbq each week if there are another guests wanting it. You need to book in advance if you want to have your evening meal.
The pool is spotless - the cleanest pool I have ever seen at resort accomadation, Panos is up at 6am-7am cleaning it daily and it shows!
Panos runs a minibus down into Kassiopi 4 times daily and as long as you are at the agreed meeting point this works fine. We hired a car which gave us additional freedom.
There are only nine apartments so you soon get to know the other guests which adds to the friendly atmosphere. Air conditioning is available for 35 euros a week, this is very effective and well worth the money.
I woud not hesitate to book to staty at the Apollon, Panos, Debbie and Kenny go out of their way to make you feel welcome and like part of the family.

We arrived at the apollon apartments on 18/08/08 looking forward to our two week stay. We were guarenteed when booking this holiday that we would be on groundfloor as my mother in law suffers from Arthritis and was due to have knee replacements at the end of september. We where told by the agent there was little no stairs - On our arrival there was stairs at the front and right through the complex itself. This was not the fault of the owners but of First Choice / Olympic Holidays who I would NEVER travel with again.
The room we were given was at the top floor, Once we entered the room which was for family of five (it was more suited for 2 - 3sharing. There was a table and TWO chairs and was very small and basic. It was not very clean either - the bed sheets looked fresh but the furniture / balcony needed a good clean. We had to be transferred to other apartments as this was no good for our mother in law. after this the owners totally changed with us from being happy to not bothered - very rude. On leaving the accomodation we asked if they could phone a taxi to be told I can give you the number and use your mobile. There was supposed to be a bus 3/4 times - that was no where to be seen. We had to walk down the winding road that was 10 minute walk - more like 25 - 30mins with cases to our new accomdation.
This was not really the owners fault but the cleanliness of the accomodation was and I would NOT recomend staying at these apartments. It is suitable if you want to stay in the complex and not see the place but I would not recomend it for elderly or disabled.

After booking our holiday at the Appollon Apartments we were feeling excited and happy about our trip to Corfu. We decided to look at some reviews on our chosen destination to learn a bit about the place. How sorry i was, a lot of the reports were bad and we began to regret our choice.
We decided to go anyway and just hope for the best. I'm so glad we did! We had a fantastic holiday.
Panos, Debbie and Kenny were lovely. They couldn't do enough for you. Our room was clean and comfortable, the sheets and towels were changed regularly and the bathroom cleaned daily.
Panos cooked some lovely meals, and his friendly (FREE) bus service was brilliant.
All he asks for in return is that you tell him whether your eating in or out so he knows how many he's catering for.
The family work hard from 7am till you decide your going to bed, which in some cases was well into the early hours. Please remember they get tired too, if you treat them with the courtesy that you yourself would wish to be treat with you'll have a fabulous holiday.
Kassioppi is a beautiful town and although the Appollon is a little way out the views across the bay to Albania are simply stunning. We will definately be returning as Corfu is a stunning island.

I stayed at the apartments for a week in JULY 08 with my husband daughter and neice.we had read mixed reviews on apartments and didnt know what to expect. we were not disapointed they were very basic but kept spotless by debbie and our views were amazing the pool was spottless and pannos cooking was very tasty and he made us what ever we ask for. Food was bought and prepared freshly every day and i highly recommend eatting there. We also ate out a few nights and didnt get a bad meal, the three brothers down by the harbour is lovley.pannos will leave you down the town at 6.30pm and pick you up at 10pm or a taxi is 5 euro. These are not 5 star apartments but pannos, debbie and kenny are 5 star and treat you as friends not guests. We will return to kassiopi and stayat the Apollon Aparts.

Location - About a 10 minute walk down the hill to the town. (15 mins up) Some people seem to find the walk a bit much but I personally enjoyed it. It takes you up through olive groves and passed local peoples houses/gardens. The owner Panos offers a free bus service 4 times throughout the day to and fro (not on Mondays).
The apartments - They are basic. You'd be hard pushed to prepare a 3 course meal every night. However there is a 2 ring table top hob and what looked like a brand new fridge.
There was plenty of space and the bathroom facilities, whilst basic were perfectly serviceable.
The rooms are quite dark. The one my girlfriend and I were in had 1 window (top half of the door). This meant they are relatively cool but it also meant they did not have the benefit of being airy. Air-con is available (30 euros a week per room) and is effective in making the accommodation very comfortable.
The Apollon has a great atmosphere. There’s only 9 apartments, so you get to know all the guests. There is a very clean, pleasant pool/bar area which is open from early until as late as is needed. As the property is set back from the town you constantly have a great view overlooking the town/harbour and across to the Albanian mountains.
We found the hospitality warm and entertaining. Its family run; a married couple Panos and Debbie (who's English) and their young son who helps out.
There is a basic menu available at the pool bar (breakfast, sandwiches drinks etc) and everything was cooked fresh to order.
A number of times a week Panos will arrange a separate evening meal for all the guests to attend if they wish. While we were there, this ranged from a spit roast lamb to souvlaki (kebabs) and seafood. He takes great pride in his cooking and it was all very authentic and delicious (highly recommended).
Anybody who knows Kassiopi Town will know what a great little place it is however because we struck up a nice rapport with the owners and the guests, we found we spent as much time relaxing with them round the pool.
All in all I would have no hesitation in recommending the Apollon for an authentic and relaxing holiday.

A lovely set of just nine apartments overlooking an average size swimming pool with stunning views across Kassiopi. A poolside bar and barbecue area provides very tasty and reasonably priced Greek and English food almost to order. Great fun entertainment by the Greek guy who runs these apartments with his wife. A simple, non commercial oasis set up in the hillside about 15mins walk away from the very charming little village of Kassiopi.
Apartments are very clean, fairly basic but are equipped with towels, kettles and basic cooking equipment. Fans are available to hire at a small cost (a must, in August) We had a spacious balcony with stunning views.
This was a fantastic holiday, we had a great 2 weeks here and I would absolutely love to go back. Fun, relaxing, great views, tasty food, can't think of anything bad, could have moved in to be honest.
Kassiopi is a truly lovely little fishing village with oodles of charm.

we stayed at the apollon apts for 2 weeks in july, well what can i say. theses might be 2 star apartments but what you get is 5 star treatment.I can honestly say i have never had my towels changed every day, rooms cleaned out every day and floors washed. debbie does a very good job cleaning theses apartments,You wont find a cleaner pool as panos cleans it every morning very early. Even if he has been up all night picking up geusts he always has a smile and one of his famous sayings, and then theres kenny, what a lovely lad, full of jokes and always happy. We had a great time at aqua land with kenny he was my sat nav.
The food panos cooks is well and truely fab, chaeper than in kassiopi and a lot better quality. While we was out there it was our wedding anniversary .Panos found out and cooked us a 3 course meal, believe me it was out of this world.we hired a car for a week to see some of corfu, but you need to book early as theres not a lot of cars left at peak season.dont be shy you can ask panos anything you want and he will try to help from directions to advise on trips. It was one of the best holidays we have had in many years, my youngest daughter and niece loved it,as the r both around 16 we wernt sure if the would be bored, but they found plenty to do.
We read the reports like every one else and what you must remember is debbie and panos work were long hours with not a lot of sleep, i certainly couldnt do it, but they do week in week out so id like to thank them for that and had a fab time and meet some nice friends too.
