The place is fantastic. We were very pleased with the service provided by Kostas and Mila.
They are both very sensitive to every need of yours as a customer and will try everything to get it sorted.
I have never seen people like that, they put their hearts and souls into delivering an excellent service.
The beach is a 5-10 mins walk.
The food is fresh and organically sourced.
This is really a great place. We will return there again next year.

St Georges South is my favourite holiday destination. Fabulous beaches that stretch for miles. Fantastic restaraunts and the Corfiots are always very friendly too.
Kostas and Mela care for the well being and happiness of their guests and try hard to meet everyones needs. I travelled on holiday alone and found them both very warm and welcoming.
Kostas has a wicked and somewhat dry sense of humour which clearly some reviewers did not understand and did not connect with! Kostas works hard providing evening entertainment and quizzes for the guests which are fun and optional to join in.
The food is excellent too.
Mela and Kostas always go the extra mile to make your stay a happy one!

A Great holiday, full stop.
It was one of our best holidays in Corfu.
Stars is the best hotel in St.George south and Stars restaurant is a must.
The food is fantastic and there is not a way that you can go somewhere else if you eat there once.
Thanks to Kostas and Mila for the great service.

we have just returned from two weeks at stars, it was great, Kostas and his whole family made us very welcome,very peaceful relaxing holiday, the rooms are cleaned daily and all linen is changed once a week, Mela is a fanastic cook and does a mousaka to die for, her all day breakfast is a must as well, these people are very kind, nothing is too much trouble for them, if you want to try a special meal and its not on the menu, just ask if its possible and they do their best, sometimes they have to order things specially!we'd have no hesitation in recommending this resort.

So we went on a FAMILY holiday! My dad regularly goes to St Georges so we knew it was going to be a good holiday! Arrived early hours in the morning and were shown to our rooms, they were basic but didnt expect much else with being a 2 str u get what you pay for. Holiday was going great until about half way through, we had hired out quads from Georges (Really NICE people), on this day we got back to the stars around 8ish and decided to get changed and go out for dinner, we ended up staying at the stars till around 11ish playing the stupid games provided by Kostas, the owner. We then decided to go into the resort for dinner. When we came back it all changed. Be aware Kostas does not appreciate you eating anywhere other than Stars. I never realised when you go on a self catering holiday you have to be glued to the the hotel??? Anyway so we came back around 12ish, me, my partner , my dad, his partner and our little 4 yr old in her pushchair, as we get to the bar to order some drinks thare are some other guests questioning Kostas about what he does in the winter when the season closes, a perfectly normal question, so then joining in the conversation my partner asks the same question, he takes offence, then we simpy asked if he had sorted the SKY tv so we could watch the darts, this is when it all kicked off, Kostas then starts saying Relax relax??? if you do not relax i will show you how we do things the Greek way??? Well if thats not a threat i do not know what it is, this guy for some reasons thinks he can threaten our family and it to be perefctly normally, the next morning he tried to apologise etc, he blamed it on him being tired, if you cant hack it then dont do the job. We saw our rep the next morning and they moved us to another hotel, which was 100 times better than the Stars, i would recommend the Alexandra Beach Apts, Alex is a brilliant guy, but do not stay here you will be on pins all week, hes like a jekyll and hide, and as for the quality of the service he provides, its repetitive mundane and extremely irritating!

Our first visit to STARS in Corfu – the best 2 weeks holiday I have ever had. The room was basic but very clean and tidy. Food and drinks were excellent, the owners Kostas and Mela provided an excellent service and nothing was too much trouble for them. The location, set off the main road and about 10 minutes from the village gave me the peace and quiet that I wanted. I only ate out once because the menu provided at STARS was varied, good value for money and most importantly delicious. The beef Stifado was to die for. You don't need to eat out staying at STARS!! The pool area was kept clean, was very safe and had ample sun loungers and shades. In the evenings Kostas became MC and got all all of the customers involved in games and Karaoke on Saturday nights. His sense of humor was very funny. I was made to feel like a member of the family which made the holiday even better. I would recommend STARS to anyone. I will return next year.

I have returned from holiday totally refreshed and relaxed. The studios at STARS are spacious and are equipped for a basic self-catering holiday. You will find cutlery, crockery and pans that will meet your needs providing you are not intending to cook up a sunday roast! The rooms are very clean and the beds are comfortable. You would not expect daily maid service in a 2 Star accommodation but our room was cleaned every day with the exception of a Sunday. The ground floor rooms have a terrace and the upstairs rooms have a balcony and are equipped with a table and chairs. The food that is offered in the restaurant/bar is of a high standard and is as good if not better than the food offered in some of the restaurants. The prices are low and you can choose Greek dishes cooked in the traditional way by Mila, using homegrown produce. If, however, you want to stick to British food there is plenty on offer, the English Breakfasts were excellent. The beer/wine/spirits are also competitively priced and very good. The pool area is lovely and is surrounded by the well-kept gardens, beautiful flowers etc. The pool was also cleaned regularly and this area is a great meeting place. Kostas has his own special brand of entertainment and should not be missed. This was our second holiday to STARS and we met a number of other people on their second, third, fourth or more visit - a true testament to what is offered. STARS is located about ten minutes walk from the village itself and the track that leads to the accommodation is lit. I would recommend STARS to anyone wishing to spend a relaxing holiday, in good company, with superb hosts, Kostas and Mila. When we were there it seemed that there we met up with so many lovely people all of whom had the time of their lives. Thanks Kostas, thanks Mila - we will be back!!!

With three words:Applause,Fantastic,Unforgettable I can say that Stars is the best place we've ever been.
Great holiday,great food,lovely area.
We had everything there.The entertainment is top of the top and words sometimes are not enough to describe how nice we felt there.
A Big Bravo to KOSTAS + MILA for the great time , again is not enough.
Stars is our paradise from now on.
It's very nice to know where is your paradise.
Soon we will be back.

Stars is a great hotel to stay.
We enjoyed ourselves and we had very good time.
Rooms very clean,beautiful gardens,nice music,friendly staff,relaxing and quiet,fantastic Greek dishes.
Yes, Stars became our paradise and is one of the best hotels we have ever been.
Thanks to everyone there and we hope soon to return back.
We loved it all.
