The apartments are quite stunning, with very modern facilities and beautiful interior furnishings. The rooms are cleaned every day with fresh towels each day.
The view from the balconies are amazing overlooking the bay. We have the use of the pool at the Paradise Hotel which is absolutely wonderful looking out onto the bright blue sea.
The town itself has a wonderful selection of Tavernas offering the most mouth watering food. The fish dishes though can be expensive which we couldn't understand as there are plenty of fish around even in the harbour.
The island itself is paradise, we tended to hire a taxi to get around which are not expensive. We visited plenty of tavernas in other resorts for lunch or dinner and we did not come across a bad taverna, the standard of food in Alonissos is amazing.
The only thing to look out for on the beach are small grey moth's which can attach themselves to you as you get out of the sea, beware of these as they are horse flies and can give you a very nasty bite.
We intend to return to Allonisos next year but for 14 days as we found the flight and sea crossing quite exhausting for just a week, but definitely worth it for a fortnight.
