Situated right on Kololi beach,this stylish hotel is within walking distance of the nearest restaurants, bars, shops, and craft market.Transfer time from the airport is approximately 35 minutes. Large free-form swimming pool with pool bar and sun terrace with sunloungers and parasols. The choice of four restaurants caters for every taste offering a selection of Mediterranean and African cuisine as well as a fine dining, with the Monsoon bar being popular for pre and post dinner drinks.

really lovely holiday
i was a bit worried going to Gambia. Particularly on the coach from the airport to the hotel as its is very poor.
But once in the hotel it was lovely, as are the Gambian people
Staff were very attentive and food was quite good. Rooms were clean.
pool area was lovely and the gardens are very relaxing for walking about
hotel is right on the beaqch of course and the sea water was actually warm
and above all the weather was great, hot and sunny
i have already booked for december 2008

hotel and staff were excellent, we stayed in the basic apartments which were adequate and very clean with towels and sheets changed daily, BUT on two occaions were kept awake until the early hours (4:30am) on one occasion due to event held in hotel premises opposite apartments, although many complaints there was no apology from the management. So it really pays to upgrade to the better apparments. the grounds and pool sides were good, and everywhere was very clean. there were plenty of sun beds both in the hotel and on the hotel private beach. the food was good and plentiful although it didnt vary that much. Take advantage of using a green taxi, the drivers act as very good guides and are alot cheaper than using first choice trips, we went on 2 of their trips and found their Gamtour guides unhelpful and not very informative until the last 30 mins of the tour ( just when they were expecting a tip!) Be prepared to barter when in Gambi, be pleasent but firm and you will enjoy being with the locals.

We stayed at this hotel for one week during January and thought the hotel excellent.Lovely gardens,Rooms not oversized but comfortable and very clean.You do need to upgrade room or you will get a standard room which are at the main entrance to the hotel with not so much view.The breakfast was probably the best choice we've had anywhere and the service was very good.The beach area was spot on -lots of room not crammed together,pool area was quiet-no games or animation team making you get up,pool very clean.All the staff polite and very efficient and mostly always smiling.
Go outside the main gate and you come to the "strip" where there are numerous bars and restaurants to suit all pockets.You will get some hassle but just say a polite "No" and smile -you will always get a smile back!!
Overview-hotel is excellent choice and brilliant location -I've already booked for next year!!!!!!!
